Lesson

Zar – it is a command which has been derived from wazar. Wazar means “being separate by forsaking”. Zar is a command, which means “Be separate by forsaking and mind your own business”.
La-‘ibanw-wa  lah-wan – a pastime and a jest. We have discussed these words already in the fourth section of this Chapter.
Garrat – it is past tense and this word has been derived from Garuur. Garuur means “to beguile, to mislead, to deceive”. Magruur is the person, who has fallen into misunderstanding, misapprehension.
Tubsala – to be destroyed, is arrested.

The people belonged to former times vitiated their religion too much that they admitted dancing, singing, pastime and jest also into their religious affairs and afterwards these amusing deeds became entire religion and the actual religion; that is to say worship, prayers and other issues were erased before these ceremonies, as though the religion was destroyed, and those nations, who destroyed it, were also ruined.

Allaah Almighty has forbidden the Muslims to follow them, so that the religion may keep its footing in its original form as well as the believers of this religion may stand firm too in good condition. It is commanded that you should forsake conversation with them. However, you should deliver the Message of Holy Qur’aan to them and admonish them properly that: Such a time is coming when you will be arrested due to your wicked actions, and there will be neither any protector nor intercessor. You will be in such condition that your deeds, in which you did not regard the Rules, Regulations made by Allaah Almighty and His Commands, but you broke Them by following your desires, will be the reason of your destruction. Your friends will desert from your companionship. Those who recommend you hear, will run away from you there. You will see none but Allaah Almighty from Whom you had disconnected in the world, and then you will believe that: There is No well for me now.

Allaah Almighty, in Whose grip you would have to come in the Hereafter, you left Him and displeased from yourself in the world. And they have left you today, with whom you linked your relationships leaving Allaah Almighty. Today (the Day of Resurrection) your affair is only with Allaah Almighty and He will treat you as He warned and admonished you with complete details through Holy Qur’aan already in the world that “It hath beside Allaah Almighty no protector nor intercessor”, so you should try to please Allaah Almighty at every cost.
