The end of disputers (L-2900)

The end of disputers (L-2900)

69.  ‘Alam  tara  ‘ilallaziina  yujaa-diluuna  fiii  ‘aayaaTillaah.  ‘Annaa  yusrafuun.

70.  ‘Allaziina  kazzabuu  bul-Kitaabi  wa  bimaaa  ‘arsalNaa  bihii  rusulaNaa  fasawfa  ya’-lamuuna.

71.  ‘Izil-‘aglaalu  fiii  ‘a’-naaqihim  was-salaasil.  Yus-habuuna.

72.  Fil-Hamiimi,  summa  fin-Naari  yusjaruun.

69. Have you not observed those who dispute regarding God's revelations, how they have deviated?

70. Those who call the Book a lie, and what We sent Our messengers with—they will surely know.

71. When the yokes are around their necks, and they will be dragged by the chains.

72. Into the boiling water, then in the Fire they will be consumed.

Yus-habuuna – (they will be dragged), this word has been derived from sahubun, which means “to drag, to bring away by pulling”.

Yusjaruuna – (they will be pushed into, they will become Fuel of the Fire), this word is from sajara, which means “an oven and to cast fuel”, that is to say; they will be thrown into the Fire like fuel.

There are a lot of things in the world which attract the mankind and then he tries to take it in his possession. In this process, the people begin to struggle against one another and dispute, even they die.

It is commanded: Have you not observed those who dispute regarding Revelations after hearing, and they don’t care concerning those instructions which We have sent by means of Our Messengers (Peace be upon them). They are being warned that they must be careful in the world and abide by those rules and regulations which We have revealed from time to time for their guidance. Summary of those Instructions has been recorded in Holy Qur’an for always, otherwise they should bear it in mind that they will come to know the consequence of their refractoriness and obstinacy very soon. O haughty people! The yokes; tied with chains will be around your necks, and the Angels (Peace be upon them) will drag you by the chains in boiling water. Then in the Fire you will be thrown as fuel. https://youtu.be/Rv9QUzcdojs

Quran Chapter 34: 38 & 39 (Pt-22, Stg-5) (L-2654)

My Lord extends provision for whom He wills

Chapter “SABAA’” - (Saba) - 34

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in Allaah from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.

(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

38.  And as for those who strive against Our Revelations, challenging Us, they will be brought to the Doom.

39.  Say: Lo! my Lord enlargeth the provision for whom He will of His bondmen, and narroweth (it) for him. And whatsoever ye spend (for good) He replaceth it. And He is the Best of Providers.
38.  Wallaziina  yas-‘awna  fiii  ‘AayaatiNaa  mu-‘aajiziina  ‘u-laaa-‘ika  fil-‘Azaabi  muhzaruun.

39.  Qul  ‘inna  Rabbii  Yabsutur-Rizqa  limany-yashaaa-‘u  min  ‘ibaadiHii  wa  Yaqdiru  lah.  Wa  maaa  ‘anfaqtum-min-  shay-‘in  fa-Huwa  Yukhlifuh.  Wa  Huwa  Khayrur-Raaziqiin.

Commentary

Yukhlifu – (He compensates, gives more after spending), this word has been derived from ‘ikhlaaf, origin of which is khalfun. Khalfun means “behind, after one’s absence”. ‘Ikhlaaf means “to send behind”, that is to say, to provide in exchange when anything has been spent and finished.

It was described in the previous verses: The people who believe and do good, for such, theirs will be manifold reward for what they did good works and they will dwell safe and secure in lofty chambers of the Garden.

In this verse, the resurrection of those people has been described who disobey the Commandments of Allaah Almighty and try to disregard His Revelations as well as prevent others from paying attention to them. They have determined to oppose Allaah Almighty and ignorantly they consider that they are able to defeat Allaah Almighty and His Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace of Allaah be upon him) by opposing. Such people will be seized and produced before Allaah Almighty and they will be suffering from severe Doom.

After that, it is commanded: Having wealth more than enough is not the reason of pride. It has been bestowed by Allaah Almighty, Who gives someone abundant for examining and restricts it from someone. The person who possesses wealth more than requirement, he should spend it in the Way of Allaah Almighty, without thinking that if it is spent, it would be finished. There is no deficiency of provision in the treasures of Allaah Almighty. He will give you better reward for that whatever will you spend in good works. By doing so you will gain satisfaction of your heart and in the Hereafter; you will find better remuneration of spending in public welfare works.

Commentary

Moses (peace be upon him) prayed in the Court of Allaah Almighty: It is very difficult to cause to understand a man of provoked nature, refractory and haughty like Pharaoh. There is a dire need of patience and tolerance in this matter. Open my breast for me so that I should not be enraged immediately after hearing conversation against my nature and mar my work by being enraged. The task of causing to understand is very difficult. You can make it easy for me. Any other cannot do this work. Arrange such circumstances that this task becomes easy for me. There is impediment in my speech due to a knot of my tongue. Loose this knot so that I may explain easily in clear words and they may understand my saying. I think, I need a supporter in this work. Appoint a supporter for me from my family so that he may help me in my work timely. My brother Aaron is more suitable for this work. Make him a partner of mine in this work.

Aaron (peace be upon him) was elder brother of Moses (peace be upon him), who was quicker in speaking.

Dream of eleven stars, sun and moon

Surah Yuusuf (Joseph) - 12

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast.)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.

(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful.)

4.  When Joseph said unto his father: O my father! Lo! I saw (in a dream) eleven stars and the sun and the moon, I saw them prostrating themselves unto me.
4.  ‘Iz  qaala  Yuusufu  li-‘abiihi  yaaa-‘abati  ‘innii  ra-‘aytu  ‘aha-da  ‘ashara  kaw-kabanw-wash-shamsa  wal-qamara  ra-‘aytu-hum  lii  saajidiin.

Commentary

The story begins from the point that a child saw a dream during his child-hood and told about it to his father. From this beginning point, every individual can understand that the name of that child is Joseph (peace be upon him). His father cares for him very much. That child is very intimate with his father and discusses every matter with him and takes advice from him and then acts upon that advice.

If you read a book written by any person on Joseph and Zulaikha {wife of aziz-e-Misr (a title of the king of Egypt)}, you will find that two points are overcoming in it – storytelling and history, and the writers have produced it as “A Tale of Beauty and Love”.

After that; if you read the same story in Holy Qur’an, you will reach that only important points have been taken and those points have been adorned so beautifully that the reader can understand remaining concerning matters naturally and easily, and the link of attractiveness does not break anywhere. Moreover, its phraseology and way of narration is a thing in between prose and poetry, in which purity of prose and attraction of poetry exists perfectly.

Such way of describing has been chosen that any human being is unable to write like this whether he tries his best. In addition to existence of story’s peculiarity, entire moral lessons come before the prudent and picture of the passions becomes dimmed step by step after fulfilling its duty. Indeed, this Chapter provides comfort to the heart, consolation to the mind and exaltation to the manners along with moral precepts by its attractive words and suitable mode of expression, in which both narratives (poetry and prose) exist. Its abstract have more than enough influence and its elegance have the power of drawing attention. Let’s recite again the above mentioned verse. Dream of a child interprets external circumstances very clearly and it is a mirror-holder of the child’s determination that certainly; his father, mother and eleven brothers will admit the superiority of the child on one or other day.

Quran Chapter 11 -116 (Pt-12, Stg-3) (L-1425) -

Men possessing a remnant of good sense

Surah Huud (Hud) - 11

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast.)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.

(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful.)

116.  If only there had been among the generations before you men possessing a remnant (of good sense) to warn (their people) from corruption in the earth, as did a few of those whom We saved from them! And the wrongdoers kept indulging in luxuries and were guilty.
116.  Fa-law-laa  kaana  minal-quruuni  min-  qabli-kum  ‘Uluu-  ba-qiyya-tiny-yan-hawna  ‘anil-  fasaadi  fil-‘arzi  ‘illaa  qaliilam-mimman  ‘an-jayNaa  minhum.  Wattaba-‘allaziina  zalamuu  maaa  ‘ut-rifuu  fiihi  wa  kaanuu  muj-rimiin.

Commentary

Law-laa – this word has been used earlier also. Deposition of dissatisfaction and threat manifests from it. Above mentioned verse has been started from this word, that is to say, the evil came upon them due to the reason that there were no such people among them who possess remnant of goodness, who prevent the people from wrongdoing and tyranny, and who forbid them from committing wicked deeds. There were only a few such people who had turned away from evildoing by obeying their Messengers (peace be upon them). But they did not have so much power that they could prohibit any person from evil deeds.

Besides them, other people were in such condition that they were fond of luxurious enjoyment. They used to disregard advice of any Wise person and spend their precious time and money on useless works, absurd amusements and sports. According to Divine Law, such all people were guilty. So at last, they were ruined by the wrath of Allah Almighty. Only those people were saved who began to obey the commandments of their Prophets (peace be upon them).

Ba-qiyya-tun – (remnant, that which is left, remainder), it aims “effect of remaining goodness”.

‘Ut-rifuu – {(they) kept indulging (in luxuries)}, it is past passive voice from the word ‘itraafun, which has been derived from tarafa. Tarafa means prosperity. ‘Ut-rifuu means “luxurious things were provided to them”.

God guides unto the Right Path - Quran Chapter 11 -112 & 113 (Pt-12, Stg-3) (L-1423) -

Quran Chapter 11 -112 & 113 (Pt-12, Stg-3) (L-1423) -

God guides unto the Right Path

Surah Huud (Hud) - 11

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast.)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.

(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful.)

112.  So tread thou the straight path as thou art commanded, and those who turn (unto Allah) with thee, and transgress not. Lo! He is Seer of what ye do.

113.  And incline not toward those who do wrong lest the Fire will touch you, and ye have no protecting friends against Allah, and afterward ye would not be helped.
112.  Fas-taqim  kamaaa  ‘umirtu  wa  man-  taaba  ma-‘aka  wa  laa  tat-gaw.  ‘InnaHuu  bimaa  ta’-maluuna  Basiir.

113.  Wa  laa  tar-kanuuu  ‘ilal-laziina  zalamuu  fata-massa-kumun-Naaru,  wa  maa  la-kum-min-  duu-Nillaahi  min  ‘aw-li-yaaa-‘a  summa  laa  tunsa-ruun.

Commentary

Laa  tat-gaw – (transgress not, you should not violate), it is a negative sentence from the word tug-yaan. Tug-yaan means “to cross the line, to transgress”.

Laa  tar-kanuuu – (do not incline, you should not lean), it is also a negative sentence from the word “rakuuna”, origin of which is r-k-n. Meaning of rakuuna is “to bend, to incline, to be abashed”.

It is clear that bundle of wishes has been filled in the human being and his life cannot run without fulfillment of his desires, but having control over them and fulfilling them by living under the limitations of the Divine Way of the Religion, is compulsory for a successful life. If someone violated the limits, he went astray. Striking him out from the limits of the Divine Law and misleading; is the actual aim of his enemies. They try their best to motivate “Life cannot be enjoyed without fulfilling the desires fearlessly”.

In this verse, it has been instructed that the Muslims should neither transgress and nor listen to those who went astray. They should tread the straight path by following and obeying the command of God’s last Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him).

Allah Almighty has been seeing your entire deeds. Behold! You should not be entangled in the trap of so-called independence. Otherwise, you will be included in the list of wrongdoers and the Fire of the Hell will take you in its entanglement. Remember! There is no protecting friend of yours save Allah Almighty.
