Allah Guideth Not The Wrongdoers

God does not guide the unjust people (L-415)

86.  Kayfa  yahDillaahu  qawman-kafaruu  ba’-da  ‘iimaanihim  wa shahiduuu  ‘annar-Rasuula  haqqunw-wa  jaaa-‘ahumul-Bayyinaat.  WAllaahu  laa  yahdil-qawmaz-zaalimiin.

86.  How will God guide a people who disbelieved after having believed, and had witnessed that the Messenger is true, and the clear proofs had come to them? God does not guide the unjust people.

God has commanded in this verse that He will never guide the wrongdoers. Wrongdoers are the people who disbelieved after their belief. They neither accepted the truth themselves, nor invited others unto the Straight Path. In addition, their refusal became resistance for others to believe in.

Some people chose infidelity after understanding the Truth. They see the reality with their eyes, when they join their own people; they also affirm secretly that the Messenger (ﷺ) is True. Bright proofs, open signs and clear glad tidings of his truth, sincerity and fidelity have reached them. Despite, their arrogance, envy and love of personal dignity have been preventing them from embracing Islam and leaving the infidelity.

It was common condition of the Jews and the Christians. How can it be hoped that either God will forgive them who are such obstinate and perverse Infidels, or bring them towards the Way of His Pleasure and lead them to reach the paradise? It is not His principle to bestow the real success to the unjust, bigoted and disobedient transgressors.

The people, who embraced Islam, bore witness that the Messenger (ﷺ) was true and after clear proofs (of God’s Sovereignty) which came unto them, they deserted from Islam and became renegade by following the worldly aims, sensuality and luxury, their condition will be worse than the above categories. They will be rightful owners of the curse and punishment. Who will be blinder than a person who gets light but afterwards says openly that the darkness is light? Who will exalt him?

These people will be losers on the Day of Judgment. Biggest loss for them will be that they would have wasted even their principal (capital). Every human being has been born on the virtue and good fortune of the human nature. But the mankind destroys his good nature by wrongdoing, flowing in the ambitions of shameful passions, false thoughts and disgusting desires. And he falls very down from the grade of humanity. It is the form of loss.

When such people tyrannize themselves, after knowing the truth and difference between good and bad, they choose the path of evil, and turn away from the Commands of God, then how can they be guided towards the straight path? They adopt perverseness due to their wrong deeds, are entangled in stray and loss of real essence of the humanity. God save us from the company of the people like them and their evils.

Religion – Other Than Islam

Religion  other than Islam will not be accepted (L-414)

وَمَن يَبتَغِ غَيرَ الإِسلامِ دينًا فَلَن يُقبَلَ مِنهُ وَهُوَ فِي الآخِرَةِ مِنَ الخاسِرينَ85.

85..  Wa  many-yabtagi  gayral-‘Islaami  Diinan-  falany-yuqbala  minh.  Wa  huwa   fil-‘Aakhirati  minal-khaasiriin.

85.  Whoever seeks other than Islam as a religion, it will not be accepted from him, and in the Hereafter he will be among the losers.

It has been described in this verse that if someone seeks any other religion except Islam, that will not be accepted by God. He will be punished in this world for such attempt as well as a loser in the Hereafter.

It is the fact that while the religion (Islam) has been revealed in its full form, then no liar, self-made or incomplete religion can be acceptable. If after rising of the sun, someone kindles a lamp or searches the light of the stars, then it would be stupidity only.

The same likeness is fit for the religion. Now the time of any local religion, creed relating to breed and limited guidance has been over. Above all; every person should get light only from the last and conqueror of the world Messenger-hood and guidance, because it is the treasury of the entire illuminations, in which all the previous lights have been mixed.

The aim from it is to warn the Children of Israel that they should not seek as religion other than Islam. Moreover, they should get protection in its embrace (acceptance). “You are bearer of which religion or you claim about which Scripture as yours, their principles and formulae are exactly according to Islam and the Islam has some superiority over them”. The appearance of the Jewish and Christianity religions was local. Those religions were sent only for a particular nation and time to be adopted.

Islam is a conqueror of the world, perfect and collective religion. It comprehends all fields of life. Therefore, if you wish to become faithful to your religion, then you should embrace Islam. You will get deliverance and respect because of it. If you will remain standing opposite notwithstanding its comprehension, and seek any other religion except Islam, then surely it will be false, misled and self-made. Therefore, it will never be accepted. In addition, those people will get severe punishment of their infidelity and denial. They will find themselves among the losers on the Day of Resurrection.

This world is just like an examination hall and the retaliation of its deeds will be given in the Hereafter. The person who will sow the seeds of good acts by digging and labor in this world, he will get pleasure and comfort on the Day of Judgment, and who remained earning the worldly wealth and property due to his perverseness and spite, he will get there obdurate loss.

Therefore, we should not remain imprudent; we must adopt the path of goodness by becoming farsighted. Otherwise, it is much difficult to escape from the loss of the Hereafter. Farsighted is he who tries for his better end, specifically such end which is of a permanent nature, neither that is temporary and nor for the time being.

Series Of The Prophets

Lineage of the Prophets (علیہم السلام) (L-413)

84.  Qul  ‘aamannaa Billaahi  wa  maaa ‘unzila ‘alaynaa  wa  maaa  ‘unzila  ‘alaaa  ‘Ibraa-hiima  wa ‘Ismaa-‘iila  wa  ‘Is-haaqa  wa  Ya’-quuba  wal- -‘Asbaati  wa  maa  ‘uutiya  Muusaa  wa  ‘Iisaa  wan-nabiyyuuna mir-Rabbihim.  Laa nufarriqu  bayna ‘ahadim-minhum.  Wa  nahnu  lahuu  Muslimuun.

84.  Say, “We believe in God, and in what was revealed to us; and in what was revealed to Abraham, and Ishmael, and Isaac, and Jacob, and the Patriarchs; and in what was given to Moses, and Jesus, and the prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we submit.”

Now practical likeness of the Muslims has been shown to the People of the Scripture. The Jews and the Christians proved to be wrong, falsified and denied all other Prophets and heavenly Books except their own Prophets (Peace be upon them) and heavenly Books (the Scriptures). It has been described in this verse about the stance of the Muslims that the people who have entered the nation of Last Prophet (ﷺ) and embraced Islam, they believe in the entire ancient Prophets as sent by God (Peace be upon them) without distinction and discrimination. They consider the ancient Holy Books as the Word of God and admit that, “We believe in God and understand that the entire Prophets (Peace be upon them) were sent by Him as His Apostles (Peace be upon them).

Having belief in God cannot be considered as true without obeying His commandments. We have faith in that Word of God which is revealed in the form of Holy Qur’an for us and we believe in the important lineage of the Prophets (Peace be upon them). We also admit all those orders, which were revealed periodically unto Abraham, and his generation’s Prophets like Ishmael, Isaac and Jacob and from their tribes (Peace be upon them). After them, we have also faith in the Divine’s Word, which was revealed upon Prophet Moses (Peace be upon him) in the form of Torah and Jesus (Peace be upon him) and the Gospel. Near us these entire Prophets (Peace be upon them) were sent by God. They were honest and truthful. The Scripture, which was revealed upon them by God, was the Truth. We do not differentiate between them. We do not falsify anyone of them. Because accusing any Prophet of falsehood will carry in the Infidelity, even if everyone else is considered as Prophet. We are real Muslims (the obedient of God).

Nahnu  lahuu  Muslimuun – (unto Him we have surrendered), the stance of the Muslims has been cleared in this sentence that every Muslim believes in the entire Prophets (Peace be upon them) who were sent by God, were honest. The aim of these verses is to produce a pattern for following by the People of the Scripture that, “if you claim that you are Muslims then it is the Straight Path. You will reach the destination if you adopt it”.

Dissension With True Religion

Opposing the True Religion (L-412)

83.  Afa-gayra  DiiNillaahi  yab-guuna  wa  lahuuu  ‘aslama man  fis-samaa-waati  wal-‘arzi  taw-‘anw-wa  karhanw-wa  ‘ilayHi  yurja-‘uun.

83.  Do they desire other than the religion of God, when to Him has submitted everything in the heavens and the earth, willingly or unwillingly, and to Him they will be returned?

DiiNillaahi – (the religion of God), this word has already been used earlier many times. Diin means fashion, custom, rites, observances and a way of life, for instance; that particular manner of thought and practice, which is foundation of solicitude and view for work, effort and action. Every community has its own specific ideologies. These ideologies fix their form of thinking. Then in accordance with them, it moulds its all-social manners of living, mode and civilization.

The people of the Scripture had known the news regarding the period of the Last Messenger, Prophet of Islam (ﷺ) from their Heavenly Books. Their prophets (Peace be upon them) had caused them to hear glad tidings that one last Prophet (ﷺ) will have to come, whose religion will be of international level. When Prophet of Islam (ﷺ) came, they knew him well. But due to envy, malice and persistence, they disbelieved in him (ﷺ), denied from embracing Islam and gave the lie.

In such conditions, the question arises that if these people are not ready to choose the most perfect and magnificent religion like Islam, then which religion would they like? Do they seek the religion which would be quite separate from the entire religions; bestowed by God, or they are desirous of any self invented religion? Even in the world, Islam (the religion of Peace and Obedience) remained and will remain always as the religion of God, that is to say; to bow own head before every Command, whenever it reaches by means of any Prophet or Messenger (Peace be upon him). Today which religion is being presented by the Last Messenger of God (ﷺ), is the same Islam. Salvation is not possible without it. Real success cannot be acquired due to turning away from it. The mankind should never deny obeying the command of God for his own happiness and likeness, whether this Command is cause of happiness for him or he feels compulsion and helplessness in its execution.

Some creatures of God are those who accept pleasantly the Commands of God as the Angels (Peace be upon them), the pious persons and worshipers, and some are those who believe under compulsion as deniers of the truth, whereas, satisfaction of the hearts cannot be acquired without the religion of God.

These entire matters will be illuminated upon these deniers of the truth, when the entire human beings will be present before God on the Day of Judgment. All creations will have to return there inevitably. Every wise person must get ready before coming of that Day. If he remained disobedient and involved in the matters of this world only; then which figure will he show there?

To Turn Away From One’s Treaty

Those who breach the covenant (L-411)

فَمَن تَوَلّىٰ بَعدَ ذٰلِكَ فَأُولٰئِكَ هُمُ الفاسِقونَ82.

82.  Faman-  ta-wallaa  ba’-da  zaalika  fa-‘ulaaa-‘ika  humul-faasiquun.

82.  Whoever turns away after that—these are the deceitful.

As it was mentioned in the previous lesson that God had made  covenant with the Prophets (Peace be upon them) that they will believe in the last Prophet (ﷺ) and guide their nations also to believe in him. Since the Prophet (Peace be upon him) exists innocent, so it cannot be thought about him that he would be faithless to his word. Therefore, the people about whom the suspicion has been revealed, they might be only out of the nation. God has commanded concerning them that they would be counted in the list of great disobedient.

God had knowledge at the time of creation of the descendants of Adam that the human being is immature from the side of his sense and puppet of the avarice. He keeps inclination to turn towards the evil. He does not try to escape from becoming disbeliever due to greediness and covetousness. Therefore, to guide him is necessary. God began to send His Prophets (Peace be upon them) for the guidance of mankind. But it is evident that the Prophet (Peace be upon him) never remains living in the world always. Sending the Prophets (Peace be upon them) one after one was unavoidable.

In such a manner the Prophets (Peace be upon them) used to come in the world for the guidance of the human beings. To establish fellowship between them for the success of this system was needful. They would be taught the same kind of principles and formulae, bestowed same type of basic rules and regulations for rectitude and righteousness, and along with it; urged them to help one another, so that the prejudiced and stingy persons might not consider their religion as the last one, which was preached only by their Prophet (Peace be upon him), and would not falsify the next last coming Prophet (ﷺ). Therefore, God made covenant with the entire Prophets (Peace be upon them). Those all Prophets (Peace be upon them) used to guide their nations on this topic according to their covenants.

In all, there were also Prophet Moses and Jesus (Peace be upon them). These both venerable persons informed to their nations (the Jews and the Christians) about fair Divine inspiration of the apostleship of the Last Messenger, Muhammad (ﷺ). But their nations ignored the sayings of these noble persons (Peace be upon them), amended Heavenly Scriptures, put the difference in meanings of their verses and participated with exertion in each type of insurrection.

When the Messenger of Islam (ﷺ) was sent, they denied believing in him after knowing and did not care the orders and guidance of their Prophets (Peace be upon them). They tyrannized themselves by becoming disbelievers and caused to enumerate in the disobedient.

Faasiqun – (miscreant), the people who infringe the orders of God and are determined as the guilty of disobedience. https://youtu.be/vjQQbXnUxaQ

Glad Tidings About The Last Messenger

Covenant by the Prophets (علیہ السلام) (L-410)

81.  Wa  ‘iz  ‘akhazAllaahu  Mii-saaqan-Nabiyyiina lamaaa  ‘aa-taytukum-    min-  Kitaabinw-wa  Hikmatin- summa jaaa-‘akum Rasuulum-Musaddiqul-limaa ma-‘akum

latu’-minunna  bihii wa  la-tansu-runnah. Qaala  ’a-‘aqrartum  wa ‘akhaztum ‘alaa zaalikum  ‘Isrii.  Qaaluuu ‘aqramaa. Qaala  fash-haduu  wa  ‘ana ma-‘akum-minash-Shaahidiin.

81. God received the covenant of the prophets, “Inasmuch as I have given you of scripture and wisdom; should a messenger come to you verifying what you have, you shall believe in him, and support him.” He said, “Do you affirm My covenant and take it upon yourselves?” They said, “We affirm it.” He said, “Then bear witness, and I am with you among the witnesses.”

The same fact has been repeated in these verses, that no Prophet (Peace be upon him) teaches the people for his own devotion. He just teaches the worship of One God (Allaah). God has made covenant with the Prophets (Peace be upon them) also as well as the common people that when another prophet comes after anyone of you, definitely he will testify the former Prophets and their Scriptures. Therefore, it is important that the Prophet who has come earlier, he should believe in the authenticity of the Prophets (Peace be upon them) who would come later and help him. If he does not find his time, then he should urge his nation perfectly that they should believe in the upcoming Prophet (ﷺ) and help him. To bequest the people like this is also included in helping him.

It manifests from this verse that the covenant has been made with the entire Prophets (Peace be upon them) that they would believe in the last Prophet of God, Muhammad, (ﷺ) and help him. Because he (ﷺ) was coming in the last of all the Prophets and all of them (Peace be upon them) had passed over before his arrival. Obviously, the entire prophets (Peace be upon them) would have made their covenants with their people. Therefore, Ali and Ibn-e-Abaas (May God be pleased with them) said, “This type of covenant was made with the Prophets”, and the Holy Messenger, Muhammad (ﷺ) said himself, “If Mosses (Peace be upon him) were living today, there was no other chance for him without following me”. In addition, he also commanded, “When Jesus (Peace be upon him) will come again, he will decide according to Holy Qur’an and Sayings of your Prophet (ﷺ). It has been described in this verse that God asked for more Emphasizing, “Do you affirm?” The entire Prophets (Peace be upon them) represented that they agreed to. God ordered, “Then bear you witness. I will be a witness with you”.

Instructions Of The Messenger

Preachings of the Messenger (ﷺ) (L-409)

79b.  wa laakin  kuunuu  Rabbaa-niyyiina  bimaa  kuntum  tu-‘allimuunal-Kitaaba  wa  bi-maa  kuntum  tadrusuun,

80. Wa  laa  ya’-murakum  ‘an-tattakhizul-malaaa-‘ikata  wan- Nabiyyiina  ‘arbaabaa.  ‘Aya’-murukum-  bil-kufri  ba’-da  ‘iz  ‘antum-Muslimuun.   (Section 8/16)

79b.  Rather, “Be people of the Lord, according to the Scripture you teach, and the teachings you learn.”

80. Nor would he command you to take the angels and the prophets as lords. Would he command you to infidelity after you have submitted?

Rabbaa-niyyiina – (faithful servants of the Lord), this word has come out from Rabb. Rabb means The Cherisher, The Provident; God. That is to say; That Entity, Who bestows existence to the entire creation and universe, and grants steps for improvement and completion.

It has been corroborated more in this verse, which was described in the previous lesson, namely a Prophet upon whom God takes pity so much that He causes him to reach up to the rank of Prophet-hood, he (Peace be upon him) will never invite the people to worship himself instead of God. On the contrary, he (Peace be upon him) brings the people in Islam causing them to release from infidelity and belief in a plurality of God. How can he (Peace be upon him) teach them about infidelity?

Holy Messenger of Islam (ﷺ) will say even to the Jews, “O People of the Scripture! Which religiousness you had earlier, there was a tradition among you to recite and teach the Scripture that have remained no more. You can get that very earlier perfection if stay by my side now, and become scholars, philosophers, jurists, devotees, pious persons and God worshippers again. This opportunity can be acquired now by means of reciting, learning and teaching Holy Qur’an.”

The Messenger (Peace be upon him); sent by God, cannot preach the people to make the angels and prophets as their lords like the Christians who had appointed Prophet Jesus and the angel Gabriel (Peace be upon them). Moreover, one group out of them had fixed Prophet Uzair ‘Ezra’ (Peace be upon him) and some Idolaters had settled the angels as their lords. When the angels and Prophets (Peace be upon them) cannot be the partners in the Divinity, then in which count are idols of stones and the wooden piece of crucifix?

At the end God commanded, “How can it be so, that a Prophet who tries to make the people Rabbaa-nii (faithful servants of the Lord), the Muslim and Muwahhid (believing in one God), and when they embrace, then he (the prophet) (Peace be upon him) destroy all his labor and performance due to bringing them towards infidelity and belief in a plurality of God?” Like this, God disclosed the innocence of the prophets (Peace be upon them) openly. He refuted those entire calumnies, which the Christians had charged falsely upon the prophet (Peace be upon him).

Worshipped Is Only Allah

It is not possible for any Prophet (علیہ السلام) (L-408)

79a.  Maa  kaana  li-basharin  ‘any-yu’-ti-ya-hUllaahul-Kitaa-ba  wal-Hukma  wan-Nubuw-wata  summa  yaquula  linnaasi  kuunuu  ‘ibaadallii  min-  duuNillaahi,

79a.  No person to whom God has given the Scripture, and wisdom, and prophethood would ever say to the people, “Be my worshipers rather than God’s.

‘Ibaadun – (faithful persons, slaves), its singular is ‘Abd. The words Ma’-buud, (Worshipped), ‘ibaadat (worship) and ‘abuudiy-yat (service of God, devotion, adoration), has been derived from this word. ‘Abd means Slave and servant, that is to say; the person who is neither independent and nor free, but is bound to act according to the instructions of his/her Lord and Ruler.

In the presence of the group from Syria (Najraan), some Christians said, “O Muhammad (ﷺ): Do you wish that we should begin your worship {as the Christians (Nazarenes) used to adore Jesus (Peace be upon him)}?” Muhammad (ﷺ) replied, “God forbid! That, if we worship someone other than God or invite others to do so. God has not sent us for this purpose”. Then the verse under discussion was revealed.

It means that the person, to whom God gives Scripture, Wisdom and decision power, and he (Peace be upon him) acquires the position of Prophet-hood, so that by conveying the correct message of God to the people, he would make them attentive towards His servitude and loyalty. His duty can never be so to distract their attention from slavery of One God to make them his own slaves or of any other creature. If he does so; then it would be meant that he was not capable for holding the position for which God sent him.

Any of the government of the world thinks two things before appointing someone in a position of responsibility:

1.   Whether this person has the potency to understand the rules of the government and fulfill his duties or otherwise?

2.   To what extent he may be hoped to get implemented the orders of the government and to maintain loyalty of the people?

No king can appoint any such person as his viceroy or ambassador about whom there would be even a little doubt of rebellion. It may be understood from this example that when the worldly governments are so much cautious, then God, Who has perfect knowledge concerning everything, how will He send a person as Messenger, who would become His rebel and despite of telling the people to worship  Allaah as God, causes to be done servitude of himself?

This verse confutes the belief of Christians that Jesus (Peace be upon him) caused to say himself the son of God and made himself a partner in His Godhood or caused to be prostrated unto himself.

How the Prophets and Messengers of God (Peace be upon them) can commit such clear error?

Trick Of The People Of The Scripture

Deceiving by the People of the Scripture (L-407)

78.  Wa  ‘inna  minhum  lafarii-qany-yal-wuuna  ‘alsi-natahum  bil-Kitaabi  li-tahsabuuhu  minal-kitaabi  wa  maa huwa  minal- kitaab.  Wa  yaquuluuna  huwa  min  ‘inDillaahi  wa  maa  huwa  min  ‘inDillaah.  Wa  yaquu-luuna  ‘alAllaahil-kaziba  wa  hum  ya’-lamuun.

78.  And among them are those who twist the Scripture with their tongues, that you may think it from the Scripture, when it is not from the Scripture. And they say, “It is from God,” when it is not from God. They tell lies and attribute them to God, knowingly.

God has mentioned in this verse about religious embezzlement and dishonesty of the People of the Scripture. These people deceive the persons in their worldly matters as well as in the religious affairs. They amend the Words of Heavenly Books (the Scripture) and depose duly changed its meanings. They included some false self-invented descriptions in Torah and Gospel and excluded entire those verses from the Holy Books, which they considered apparently not fruitful for them.

Some people from them were those, who distorted the Scripture with their tongues, so that the listeners might be deceived and they might think that what they had said was from the Scripture. Their evil did not go to an end here but they also used to claim that it entire was revealed from God, while it was not from the Scripture. How much hard heartedness would be more than it that they attributed all such false descriptions as from God, while they knew that it was not from God but their self-invented and they told a lie concerning God knowingly. For them surely there will be a painful doom.

It is known from this verse also that the children of Israel changed the Scripture of God intentionally for the purpose of only worldly greediness. Due to revenge of this kind of evils, they were involved in different types of difficulties and torments from God. Entire favors were snatched from them. Their biggest favor was prophet-hood, which was transferred to the children of Ishmael {Last Messenger, Muhammad – (ﷺ)} from them. Now the Word of God is in our trust in the form of Holy Qur’an. We should preserve Its Words and Meanings completely and should not attribute anything towards God, which is neither held in Holy Qur’an and nor is against the Will of God.

Two Most Beloved Companions Of the Messenger (peace be upon him)

The Best Generation: [Part One]:Abu Bakr As-Siddeeq (may Allah be pleased with him)

Abu Bakr Al-Siddeeq (May Allah be pleased with him):
1.      The Messenger of Allah (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) said: ‘Follow the example of those after me: Abu Bakr and Umar.’ [1]
2.      He was the first adult male and the first free man to accept Islam; [2]
The Prophet (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wassallam) informed his Companions (radhiyAllahu ‘anhum) that, whenever he invited a person to Islam, that person would hesitate before making up his mind to embrace Islam – except for Abu Bakr (radhiyAllahu ‘anhu), who neither hesitated nor wavered. [3]
3.      Immediately upon embracing Islam, Abu Bakr (radhiyAllahu ‘anhu) made it his primary mission in life to spread the message of Islam to others. [4] Many embraced Islam at his hands; here are some examples: ‘Uthmaan ibn ‘Affaan, ‘Abdur-Rahman ibn ‘Auf, Sa’d ibn Abee Waqqaas, Az-Zubair ibn Al-‘Awaam and Talhah ibn ‘Ubaidullah (radhiyAllahu ‘anhum). These particular five were the fruits of Abu Bakr’s Dawah. Once these five brave men entered the fold of Islam, others began to follow. [5]
4.      The Prophet (sallAllahu ‘alaihi wassallam) said: “Abu-Bakr has favored me much with his property and company. If I were to take a Khalil (an intimate friend) from mankind I would certainly have taken Abu Bakr.” [6]
5.      He was the one and only companion whom RasulAllah (salAllahu’alayhi wasallam) chose to accompany him in the Hijrah to Madinah. [7]
6.      If the eman of Abu Bakr was put on one side of the scale and the eman of this entire Ummah on the other, Abu Bakr’s eman would have outweighed. [8]
7.      Throughout his life, the Prophet (salAllahu’alayhi wasallam) appointed only one man to lead Muslims in prayer in his place, and that man was, ofcourse, Abu Bakr (radhiyAllahu ‘anhu). [9]
8.      When the Messenger of Allaah (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) died, people fell into a state of shock and disbelief. It was Abu Bakr (radhiyAllahu ‘anhu) who then brought them back to their senses, saying to them his now-famous words: “Whoever used to worship Muhammed, Muhammed has indeed died. And whoever used to worship Allah, Allah is alive and never dies.” [10]
9.      He was the first khalifah after the death of Muhammed (sallAllahu’alayhi wasallam) [11]
10.   Abu Bakr (radhiyAllahu ‘anhu) was the first to begin the compilation of the Qur’an, under the advice of Umar (radhiyAllahu ‘anhu). [12]
11.  Abu Bakr (radhiyAllahu ‘anhu) said, “I do and apply (in terms of actions, policies, etc.) everything that the Messenger of Allaah (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wasallam) did and applied, for I fear that, if I abandon any part of his way (or system of rule), I will go astray.” [13]
12.  Abu Bakr (radhiyAllahu ‘anhu) lived in the moment, using every second of his time to better himself as a Muslim.
Abu Huraira reported that the Messenger of Allah (sallAllahu ‘alaihi wassallam) said to his companions, “Who has observed fast among you today?” Abu Bakr (radhiyAllahu ‘anhu) replied, “Me.” He (sallAllahu ‘alaihi wassallam) said, “Who among you followed a funeral procession today?” Abu Bakr (radhiyAllahu ‘anhu) replied, “Me”. He (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wassallam) said, “Who among you has fed a poor person (today)?” Abu Bakr (radhiyAllahu ‘anhu) replied, “Me”. He (sallAllahu ‘alaihi wassallam) said, “Who among you visited a sick person today?” Abu Bakr (radhiyAllahu ‘anhu) said, “Me.” Upon this the Messenger of Allah (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wassallam) said, “Anyone in whom (these good deeds) are combined will certainly, enter paradise.” [14]
13.  Abu Bakr (radhiyAllahu ‘anhu) died at the age of 63, which was the exact age at which the Messenger of Allah (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wassallam) died. As per his instructions, [15] Abu Bakr (radhiyAllahu ‘anhu) was washed by Asmaa bint ‘Umais (radhiyAllahu ‘anha) and was buried alongside the Messenger of Allah (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wassallam). [16]

The Best Generation [Part two]:Khadeejah bint Khuwaylid (May Allah be pleased with her)

The Best Generation [Part two]:Khadeejah bint Khuwaylid (May Allah be pleased with her)
1. She was known for her noble character, and the people of the Quraish would call her, “The Pure and Chaste One.” 1
2. She was the first woman that the Messenger of Allah ( small SAW ) married, and he didn’t marry any other woman until she died. 2
3. As a wife, she:
·                                 Was a suitable companion, trusted counselor and helper,
·                                 Helped the Prophet ( small SAW ) during difficult times,
·                                 Participated alongside him in spreading the message of Islam. 3
4. Ibn Ishaq said: “The Prophet never heard any unpleasant thing from her whenever she talked to him.” 4
5. She gave birth to 2 of the Prophet’s sons and 4 daughters.
2 Sons: Al-Qaasim and ‘Abdullah (At-Taahir /At-Tayyibb)
Both passed away at a very young age.
4 Daughters: Zainab, Ruqayyah, Umm Kulthoom and Fatimah. ( small - radi-allahu-anhum )
They all embraced Islam, married, and migrated to Al-Madeenah 5
6. Khadeejah ( small Radi Allahu Anha ) was the first woman, or rather the first person, to believe in the Prophet ( small SAW ). 6 immediately. This is the consensus of the historians and writers of the life history of the Prophet (sallAllahu ‘alayhi wasallam). 7
7. She was also the first person to hear the revealed Verses from the mouth of the Messenger of Allah ( small SAW ) and the first person to recite the Quran. 8
8. She had invested all her wealth in the cause of Allah. She spent generously spent without making any mention of what she had spent, especially during the years of sanction in the alleys of Abu Talib. 9
9. She also showed kindness to the weak and poor Muslims. She was very generous to them and was really and deservedly entitled to be called ‘Mother of the faithful’. She was the first mother of the faithful in every sense. 10
10. The first person who learned how to pray from the Messenger of Allah ( small SAW ). 11
11. “Abu Hurayrah ( small radi-allahu-anhu ) narrated:
“Jibreel came to the Prophet ( small SAW ) and said: ‘Here is Khadijah coming to you with a bowl of condiment or food or drink. When she comes to you, convey to her the greeting of peace from her Lord and from me, and give her the tiding of a house in Paradise built of Qasab wherein there will be neither any noise nor any fatigue (trouble)”” 12
12. The Prophet ( small SAW ) remained married to Khadeejah ( small radi-allahu-anhu ) until she died at the age of 65. 13
13. Her death was one of the saddest experiences of the Messenger of Allah ( small SAW ). 14
14. One of the ladies of the Quraish, Khawlah bint Hakim, visited the Prophet ( small SAW ) to console him, and saw his state of depression and grief and remarked on it. He replied it was only natural that he should be touched by her absence, as she had been a loving mother to his now neglected children; she had been a loyal and sympathetic wife who shared his secrets. It was only human and natural that he should feel her loss as she was there for him during his most difficult times. 15
15. The Prophet ( small SAW ) said about The mother of the believers, Khadeejah( small Radi Allahu Anha );
‘She believed in me while the people disbelieved in me. And she trusted in me while the people belied me. And she helped and comforted me in person and in wealth when the people would not. Allah provided me with children by her, and He did not with others.’ 16
16. In it recorded in Sahīh Muslim from Ā’ishah ( small Radi Allahu Anha ) that the Prophet ( small SAW ) used to slaughter sheep and he would say: ”Send it to the friends of Khadijah.” So I mentioned this action of his to him one day and he said: ”I love those whom she loved.” Do you find any faithfulness that is better than this? Certainly life can’t be more beautiful than the one spent under the shade of Islām but most men do not realize (this). 17
17. The Messenger of Allah ( small SAW ) said: “The best of the women of Paradise are Khadeejah bint Khuwaylid, Faatimah bint Muhammad, Aasiyah bint Mazaahim the wife of Pharaoh, and Maryam bint ‘Imraan – may Allaah be pleased with them.” 18
18. It was narrated from Anas that the Prophet ( small SAW ) said:
“Sufficient for you among the women of the world are Maryam the daughter of ‘Imraan. Khadeejah bint Khuwaylid, Faatimah bint Muhammad and Aasiyah the wife of Pharaoh.” 19
