Succour Of Allah Almighty

Succor from Allah Almighty (L-366)

13.  Qad  kaana  lakum  ’Aayatun-  fii    fi-‘ataynil-taqataa.  Fi-‘atun-tuqaatilu  fii  Sabii-Lillaahi  wa  ‘ukhraa  kaafiratuny-yaraw-nahum-mis-layhim  ra’-yal- ‘ayn.  WAllaahu  yu- ‘ayyidu  bi-nasriHii  many-ya- shaaa’.  ‘Inna  fii  zaalika  la- ‘ib-ratal-li ‘ulil- ‘absaar.

13.  There was a sign for you in the two parties that met. One party fighting in the way of God, and the other was disbelieving. They saw them with their own eyes twice their number. But God supports with His help whomever He wills. In that is a lesson for those with insight.

God has indicated here towards an event for the people, who learn a lesson from happenings. This event is famous with the name of “The Battle of Badr”. A war took place between the Muslim Army and the Idolaters’ Army of  Makkah at this occasion. Succor of God reached Muslims, and True and False (Haqq o Baatil) were separated.

Strength of Infidels’ manpower was nearly one thousand in the Battle of Badr. They had seven hundred camels and one hundred horses. Their warriors were very experienced and skilled in fighting. On the other hand, the Muslim warriors were three hundred and thirteen only. They had only seventy camels, two horses, six chain armors and eight swords. Both Armies observed that their opponents were double in numbers from them, clearly, with their very eyes. The fear of abundance in number of the Muslims prevailed over the hearts of Infidels and they were terrified.

On the other side, the Muslims paid more attention to God due to looking the Army of the Infidels double in numbers from them. They were hopeful of victory and support with firmness and stability, placing their trust in the promise of God. If the number of Infidels’ Army did appear in full before Muslims, which were three-fold in numbers from them, then it was possible that the fear had to overshadow upon them. However, it is an admonitory event for the discreet people for rendering about a group’s victory, which was small and without means, over such strong group like Infidels, which was threefold more in numbers from them. On that day; the prediction was fulfilled which was described to the Muslims many years ago in Makkah.

We have learnt from this lesson that real thing is patience and trust in God, not abundance of weapons, equipment and manpower. We must have faith in God in all difficulties and pray before Him for support, because entire success and victories are in His Hand.

It is not only one event in the Islamic History like this, which has been described in this verse i.e. the Battle of Badr. But whenever the truth-loving people have come out with this passion and fervor in the field to sacrifice, the victory from God has remained with them in the similar circumstances.

An Admonition

A Warning (L-365)

10.  ‘Innal-laziina  kafaruu  lan-tug-niya  ‘anhum  ‘amwaaluhum  wa  laaa  ‘awlaaduhum-minAllaahi  shay-‘aa.  Wa  ‘ulaaa-‘ika  hum  waquudun-  Naar.

11.  Kada’-bi  ‘aali  Fir-‘awna,  wallaziina  min-  qablihim.  Kaz-zabuu  bi-‘aayaatiNaa  Fa-‘akha-zahumUllaahu  bi- zunuubihim.  WAllaahu  Shadiidul-‘iqaab.

12.  Qul-lillaziina  kafaruu  sa-tuglabuuna  wa tubsharuuna  ‘ilaa  Jahan-nam.  Wa  bi’-sal-mihaad.

10. As for those who disbelieve, neither their wealth nor their children will avail them anything against God. These will be fuel for the Fire.

11. Like the behavior of Pharaoh’s people and those before them. They rejected Our signs, so God seized them for their sins. God is Strict in retribution.

12. Say to those who disbelieve, “You will be defeated, and rounded up into Hell—an awful resting-place.”

The Infidels and Idolaters have been warned in the first verse of this lesson that as ancient nations were punished for their infidelity and plurality in Oneness of God, just like them; you will be punished also for such sins.

This verse indicates towards Pharaoh and the nations earlier to him that they falsified the Prophets (Peace be upon them), sent by God, refused His tokens and disobeyed His Orders. God seized them in punishment for these entire sins and punished them severely. Therefore, everyone should take warning from the consequence of those ancient nations, and the existing Infidels and Idolaters should refrain from perverseness. It has been predicted in the second verse that all those Infidels who are enemies of God and His Messenger (ﷺ), will be overcome soon. The Muslims will defeat them. After being punishable in this world, they will be cast as fuel into the severest Fire of the Hell, which is certainly a resting-place of evil-livers (very bad place for living).

Two Benedictions

Two Supplications (L-364)

‘InnaKa    ‘Antal-Wahaab.

9.  Rabbanaa  ‘innaKa  jaami- ‘unnaasi  li-Yawmil-laa  rayba  fiih.  ‘InnAllaaha  laa  yukh-liful-mii-‘aad. (Section 1/9)

8. “Our Lord, do not cause our hearts to swerve after You have guided us, and bestow on us mercy from Your presence; You are the Giver.”

9. “Our Lord, You will gather the people for a Day in which there is no doubt.” God will never break His promise.

Prophet of God (ﷺ) used to supplicate often in these words despite having so much higher grades and splendid perfections, “Yaa Muqal-libal quluubi  Sabbit  qalbii  ‘alaa  DiiniKa” (O Converter of the hearts! Keep my heart steady upon Your Religion).

The Erudite know that such Day will come when God will gather the entire mankind together. The people of crooked heart, who used to quarrel in precepts, decision will be settled for all. Every evil-liver will have to settle with punishment due to his crossness in manners and obstinacy. Because of this reason, the well-learned persons remain disgusted from such unprincipled persons and are seekers of the Mercy of God.

God described the consequence of the Infidels along with the mention of Doomsday that; nothing in the world and on the Day of Resurrection can save them from the punishment of God. The Christian scholars of Najraan did not embrace Islam; only due to the reason that the Christian King would stop to reward them distinguishing gifts in case of their embracing Islam. Here, it has been commanded that the entire wealth and property are accidental and nothing from it will be useful on the Day of Resurrection. Therefore, those people who do not believe in Islam for the sake of only worldly wealth and property or honor and dignity, they must know and recognize that the wealth, property or mass would not be able to save them from the torment.

The entire promises of God are true and He does never fail to keep His tryst. Therefore, every individual should continue doing good acts with perfect certainty of the parts of deeds. https://youtu.be/8ED8AA30BrY

Verses Have Two Kinds

Two kinds of Verses (L-362)

7.  Huwallazii  ‘unzila  ‘alaykal- Kitaaba  minhu  ‘aayaatum-  Muhkamaatun  hunna  ‘Ummul-  Kitaabi  wa  ‘ukharu  Mutashaa-bihaat.  Fa- ‘ammal-  laziina  fii  quluubihim  zay-gun-  fayattabi-‘uuna  maa  tashaabaha  minhub-tigaa- ‘al-fitnati  wabtigaaa-‘a  ta’-wiilih.  Wa  maa  ya’-lamu  ta’-wiilahuuu  ‘illAllaah.  War-Raasikhuuna  fil-‘ilmi  yaquu-luuna  ‘aamannaa  bihii, kullum- min  ‘indi  Rabbinaa.  Wa  maa  yazzakkaru  ‘illaaa  ‘ulul- ‘albaab.

7.  It is He who revealed to you the Book. Some of its verses are definitive; they are the foundation of the Book, and others are unspecific. As for those in whose hearts is deviation, they follow the unspecific part, seeking dissent, and seeking to derive an interpretation. But none knows its interpretation except God and those firmly rooted in knowledge say, “We believe in it; all is from our Lord.” But none recollects except those with understanding.

Muhkamaatun – (clear revelations), those clear and apparent verses of Holy Qur’an, objects of which are determined and there is no doubt in their meanings.

‘Ummul-  Kitaabi – (the substance of the Book), substance of everything is called ‘Ummu. Here this fact has been mentioned that those verses of Holy Qur’an, which are clear and obvious, which have only one meaning, are substantial and touchstones.

Mutashaa-bihaatun – (Allegorical), that is such Word, which has reciprocally several matching meanings, it would be difficult to distinguish between them, and from its explanation come out different points of view. Only the religious scholars may make difference between them. It is the duty of common people that they should follow the real scholars in the meanings of such verses. They should not rely on their own senses.

‘Al-laziina  fii  quluubihim  zay-gun – (those in whose hearts is doubt), it signifies towards those nations who fixed some allegorical verses seeking (to cause) dissension and by seeking to explain it as real, and by leaving behind guidance and teachings of their Prophets (Peace be upon them). Further detail may be seen in the next lesson. https://youtu.be/gwZEaX9XV8E

Though I don't commonly use quotes from the Bible in explaining Islamic beliefs to Christians, the verse from Numbers 23:19 of the Old Testament which ascribes to God the clear statement "God is not a man..." clearly refutes Trinitarian Christian claims that Jesus is God, as they all agree that Jesus was a man. Furthermore, in the same verse it states "...neither a son of man...", and the Gospels all contain verses in which Jesus is reported to have called himself "the son of man" (See Matthew 8:20; 19:28, Mark 14:62; Luke 9:22; John 6:53; 8:28; 13:31). Food for open-minded Christian reflection and thought. Dr Bilal

Refutation Of False Beliefs

Denying false beliefs (L-361)

5.  ‘InnAllaaha  laa  yakh-faa  ‘alayhi  shay-‘un-  fil-‘arzi  wa  laa  fis-samaaa’.

6.  Huwal-lazi  yusaw-wirukum  fil-‘ar-haami  kayfa  yashaaa’. Laaa  ‘ilaaha  ‘illaa  Huwal-  ‘Azii-zul-  Hakiim.

5. Nothing is hidden from God, on earth or in the heaven.

6. It is He who forms you in the wombs as He wills. There is no god except He, the Almighty, the Wise.

God commanded in the previous verse that He will punish those people who will deny His Revelations. In addition, it has been described in this verse that He has Full knowledge about everything. As His Authority is perfect, likewise, His Knowledge is also very perfect. Nothing (big or small) can remain hidden for a moment from His Knowledge in the earth or in the skies. He knows specific difference among the entire goodness and the evils. Where can a wrongdoer go who wishes to hide himself by running out?

It manifests too from this narration that Jesus (Peace be upon him) cannot be God because he did not have such full knowledge. He (Peace be upon him) did know only that, which was revealed by God unto him. For refutation of Godhead of Jesus (Peace be upon him), God described another characteristic. That is to say, “He it is Who fashions you according to His Wisdom and Knowledge in the wombs of mothers as pleases Him. There is no God save Him. He brings in to being as He wishes - male or female, handsome or ill looking, clear-sighted or blind, dumb or deaf. He raises a human being from an ordinary drop of seminal fluid and blood.” Therefore, how can he (Peace be upon him) be called God who remained in the darkness of his mother’s womb, eats, drinks, makes a water and performs a function of nature.

The Christians used to produce the proof that Jesus (Peace be upon him) was like God; while there was no apparent father of him, then God was his father (let’s flee to God). They are being replied against their question in this verse. That is to say’ God prepares the form of mankind in the womb by His Divine Power as He desires, either by means of father and mother (both) or with the means of mother only. Hence, He described the Attribute of ‘Azii-zul-  Hakiim , that is to say’ He is Excelling, Owner of all strong Powers and the Almighty, the Wise.

He created Adam (Peace be upon him) without father and mother, brought in to being his wife Eve (Peace be upon them) without mother. Like this, He produced Jesus (Peace be upon him) without father. How can someone have doubt in the Wisdom and Knowledge of such Creator, Master and the Wise?

The Heavenly Books

Holy Qur’an and the Scriptures revealed before it (L-360)

3.  Nazzala  ‘alaykal-Kitaaba  bil-Haqqi  musaddiqal-limaa  bayna  yadayhi  wa  ‘anzalat-Taw-raata  wal-‘Injiil

4.  Min-qablu  Hudal-linnaasi  wa  ‘anzalal-Furqaan.  ‘Innal-laziina  kafaruu  bi—‘aayaaTillaahi  lahum  ‘azaabun-  shadiid.  WAllaahu  ‘Aziizun-  Zuntiqaam.

3. He sent down to you the Book with the Truth, confirming what came before it; and He sent down the Torah and the Gospel.

4. Aforetime, as guidance for mankind; and He sent down the Criterion. Those who have rejected God’s signs will have a severe punishment. God is Mighty, Able to take revenge.

Bil-Haqqi – (with truth), wisdom, knowledge, and justice are included also in the meanings of the word Haqq along with the truth. That is to say; the Word of God (Holy Qur’an) is full of wisdom as well as true in all respects.

Musaddiqun – (a Verifier, an Affirmer, one which confirms that other Scriptures of God are true too), Holy Qur’an is the Scripture, which confirms those Scriptures, which were revealed before it. It acknowledges every Heavenly Book as on the truth, and believes in the entire Prophets and Messengers (Peace be upon them) and that their teachings were also from God.

‘Al-Furqaan – (a standard of judging, the Criterion), it means such specified discretion, which is produced between the right and the wrong. According to some religious scholars, it aims the miracles, arguments and proofs which were conferred to every Messenger and Prophet (Peace be upon them). Furqaan is the name of Holy Qur’an too. Its literal meanings are ‘the Separator’, that is to say; the Separator of right and wrong, true and false.

God has commanded to His last Prophet (ﷺ) in these words here, “O Messenger! Holy Qur’an has been revealed unto you with truth and justice in accordance with real wisdom and it has another peculiarity that it confirms the Scriptures, which were revealed before it; like Torah of Moses, Psalms of David and Gospel of Jesus (Peace be upon them) etc. Those Books were revealed for the guidance of the ancient people. Like this, God described that the faith regarding Godhead of Jesus and being son of God did not exist in any heavenly book, because according to the principles of the religion; all Heavenly Books are unanimous.

God revealed such proper things in every reign, which used to differentiate and distinct between the right and the wrong, lawful and unlawful, true and false. At last, He also commanded that the people; who will deny believing in the Revelations of God intentionally, He will punish them certainly. He is Overcoming, Requite and Perfect Capable to take revenge.

Good Manners Of God

Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran - 3)
Verse – 1& 2  of  200, Section –1    (Part – 3)
Quran Chapter 3- 1 & 2 (Pt-3, Stg-1) (L-359) -

Epithets of God

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

1  ‘Alif-Laaam-Miiim.

2.  ‘Allaahu  laaa  ‘ilaaha  ‘illaa  Huwal-Hayyul-Qayyuum.

1. Alif, Lam, Meem.

2. God, there is no god but He, the Living, the Eternal.

Purpose to reveal this verse is that a group of Christians from Najraan came to Messenger of Allah (grace, glory, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). These people were convinced about godhead of Jesus (peace be upon him). They used to say him “son of God” (let us flee to God) and believed in trinity. When the conversation began, Messenger of Allah (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) proved that Jesus (peace be upon him) was a servant of Allah Almighty. Allah Almighty is pure from it that He is nourished in the womb of any woman, and after birth He eats and drinks like common humankind, (I seek shelter of Allah Almighty from Satan the outcast). Messenger of Islam (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) told that belief of Christians is baseless in which they say, “Jesus (peace be upon him) was hanged and died restlessly (let us flee to God).

Messenger of Allah (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) said, “you do not know that ‘Allaahu  laaa  ‘ilaaha  ‘illaa  Huwal-Hayyul-Qayyuum (Allah! There is no God save Him, the Alive, the Eternal), He can never die, He bestowed body to the entire creature. Contrary to Him Jesus (peace be upon him) will certainly die, and it is clear that how can he keep up other creature who cannot keep his own existence?

Listening it, they all became silent. Then Messenger of Allah (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) said, “if you have still any doubt then come, let us come out bringing our children (yours’ and ours’) and supplicate from God Almighty, “curse upon the liar”. They requested that they would reply after consultation with each other. Accordingly, they consulted among themselves that, “this person is Messenger of God (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him), if we shall oppose him in this manner, wrath of God will break in upon us. So it is better for us to go back to our homes”. Therefore, they went back to Najraan.

‘Alif-Laaam-Miiim – (short verses), it was explained in LESSON # 15 of HOLY QUR’AAN (Surah AL-BAQARAH – 2 ABSOLUTE LETTERS Verse – 1 of 286, section -1). To say something certainly about its meaning is difficult. The saints have described different meanings. Well-known saying is that ‘Alif-Laaam-Miiim is substance of ‘Ana-Allaahu ‘a’-lamu (I, Allah am the best Knower). In short, Allah Almighty has rejected the beliefs of Christians in above-mentioned verse. Their following three Articles of Faith were famous: (let us flee to God)

1.    Trinity (with the union of God, Jesus and Holy Spirit it becomes God).
2.    Jesus (peace be upon him) is God. He has come in the shape of humankind.
3.    Jesus (peace be upon him) is son of God.

The words ‘Allaahu  laaa  ‘ilaaha  ‘illaa  Hu vitiated the first article of faith. Then the words Hayyul-Qayyuum proved that the second and third articles of faith are also wrong, because Jesus (peace be upon him) was born from the womb of a woman. As though, he (peace be upon him) was indigent of his mother for his birth. Moreover, while transitory is also for him (peace be upon him), then he (peace be upon him) cannot be Qayyuum (the Eternal), so how can he (peace be upon him) be Allah (God) Almighty?

‘Aali- ‘Imran – 3

Introduction - Surah ‘Aali-‘Im-raan (The Family of ‘Imran) (L-358)

This Surah was revealed at Madinah. It contains 200 verses and 20 Sections. In Surah Al-Baqarah, especially the children of Israel were addressed, but in this Surah, direction of speech is towards the Christians. According to the Sayings of God’s last Messenger (ﷺ), this Surah has also many virtues like Surah Al-Baqrah.

One narration about the purpose of revelation of this Surah is copied. When Messenger of Islam (ﷺ) immigrated to  Madinah, the Light of true religion spread near and at distance. Nevertheless, the Jews who used to live in the surroundings of  Madinah, denied the true religion after its revelation by God. One group of the Christians came from Najraan for augment and debate. Najraan is a place in the territory of Yemen in the south of Arab. During those days, there was much population of the Christians in Najraan. This group had fourteen well-known persons. From them, three were most famous:

1.    Abdul Masiih Aaqib        - due to chief-ship and wealth.

2.    Eiham al-Sayyad           - due to judgment and management

3.    Abu Haarisah bin Aqlamah - due to being a religious scholar

The 3rd individual belonged actually to the notorious tribe of the Arab “Bani Bakr bin Waayel”. The Kings of Rome used to honor and regard him with respect; keeping in view his knowledge about the religion, grandeur and nobility. They built churches by spending abundant wealth and appointed him on a superior rank of religious matters. These people reached Madinah and discussed in detail with the Messenger of Islam (ﷺ).

Holy Qur’an appealed the learned persons in this auspicious Surah for concordance and mutual aid, and if they could not be partners in other matters, even then; they should join at least for preaching about Oneness of God and its dissemination because it was a mutual aim of all of them.

The entire Prophets of God (Peace be upon them) came in this world with only one purpose. In this connection, the Messenger of Islam (ﷺ) is the last link of this chain. His nation is owner of perfection and evidence with the title of “Well Nation”. Therefore, this last nation of the world was informed about its duties and responsibilities along with this description. Moreover, it warned that it should avoid those matters, which became causes of destruction of the earlier nations.

Two important incidents of Islamic history, their causes and results have been analyzed in the last part of this Chapter i.e. the Battle of Badr, which was fought in 2nd AH and the Battle of Uhud in 3rd AH. That part of Surah ‘Aali-‘Im-raan needs special attention.  https://youtu.be/6DzFPmtnQV4

A Short Note On This Surah

Surah Al-Imran begins with the words, “Allah! There is no God save Him, the Alive, the Eternal, He revealed the Scripture with truth for guidance of the humanity. He completed them by revealing the Holy Qur’an in the last. He established the touchstone to examine the true and false. Some verses of Holy Qur’an are so clear and bright that everybody can understand them easily. But each person cannot recognize the meanings of some verses. We should believe in all of them and have faith that their meanings are entirely correct, and these all are from our Lord.

Then He commanded that the heart of humankind inclines more to wife and children, heaps of gold and silver, holding up and keeping his wished things. However, these entire things are transitory. The heart should be in love with only acquiring willingness of Allah Almighty and the next world. Remaining a seeker of Heaven is the best aim. Allah Almighty has determined Islam as religion for the human world. Sorrow for that some people shirk to believe in it.  Afterwards the recitation is about the birth of Mary and her fostering, birth of Jesus (peace be upon them), try to correct the nation and his miracles etc. Then the Christians are told to reap advantage from real preaching of Jesus (peace be upon him) and obey the Holy Qur’an, the Scripture brought by the Last Messenger of Allah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him), because your own Scripture is witness of his truth. It described also that Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him) was neither Jews, nor Christian, but he was Muslim.

After that, a useful message is delivered to Jews and Christians that they should leave slavery of each other and submit themselves collectively before Allah Almighty. If they do not believe in this message, then Muslims should bind it in their knuckle and catch these principles strongly with unity. They should set aside their personal quarrels with each other. In this manner, they will become the best nation out of the entire nations. Looking them, other people will begin to escape from evils and choose good works.

Then Muslims are being directed towards Battle of Badr that, their victory was a very powerful miracle of the Dignity of Allah Almighty. It was impossible to succeed in this Battle without Support of Allah Almighty. Then it has been commanded about unlawfulness of the interest/usury and to escape from it. Probably the order about forbidding from usury has come here due to the reason that as the Muslims gained in the Battle, likewise they will get advantage due to leaving the interest. And the entire humankind will escape from ruin.

Then there is mention about the Battle of ‘Uhad. The loss, which was faced by Muslims, that was due to non-implementation of the orders of Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). Practices of the Hypocrites is cursed, which they adopted in this Battle and thus it became reason of loss of the Muslims and Islam.

The Muslims are being guided that path of life of the Jews and Christians is untrue and objectionable, they should not follow it, otherwise they will suffer. They should not be missed from the apparently prosperous of Infidels. At last, their place is Hell. However, who will embrace Islam and do good works, they will get remuneration. So have fear of God, in it there is prosperity and success for you.

Rabbanaa  wa  laa  tuhammil-naa  maa  laa  taaqata  lanaa  bih.  Wa’-fu  ‘annaa,  wag-fir-lanaa,  war-ham-naa.  ‘Anta  Mawlaa-naa  fan-sur-naa  ‘alal-qaw-mil-Kaafiriin. (Section 40/8)

286.  God does not burden any soul beyond its capacity. To its credit is what it earns, and against it is what it commits. “Our Lord, do not condemn us if we forget or make a mistake. Our Lord, do not burden us as You have burdened those before us. Our Lord, do not burden us with more than we have strength to bear; and pardon us, and forgive us, and have mercy on us. You are our Lord and Master, so help us against the disbelieving people.”

It is the last verse of this Surah. God commanded that retribution of good or wicked deeds would be awarded to every person corresponding to his/her acts, behavior and conduct. If any individual did good, he/she will surely receive its remuneration, and if anybody committed bad, evil or sin, certainly he/she will be awarded its punishment. Then Allah Almighty bestowed following Supplications:

1.    Rabbanaa  laa  tu- ‘aa- khiznaaa  ‘in-nasiinaaa  ‘aw  ‘akhta’-naa. (Our Lord! Call us not to account if we forget, or miss the mark).

2.    Rabbanaa  wa  laa  tahmil  ‘alay-naaa  ‘isran-  kamaa  hamaltahuu  ‘alal-laziina  min-qab-linaa. (Our Lord! Lay not on us such a burden as You placed on those before us).

3.    Rabbanaa  wa  laa  tuhammil-naa  maa  laa  taaqata  lanaa  bih. (Our Lord! Impose not on us that which we have not the strength to bear).

4.    Wa’-fu  ‘annaa,  wag-fir-lanaa,  war-ham-naa. (And pardon us, and absolve us and have mercy on us).

5.    ‘Anta  Mawlaa-naa  fan-sur-naa  ‘alal-qaw-mil-Kaafiriin. (You are our Protector, so give us victory over the disbelieving folk).

‘Aamiin. (Our Lord! So kindly be it).

Surah ‘Al-Baqarah, which is the longest Surah of Holy Qur’an, goes to an end after above Supplications.

The Parts Of The Belief

Elements of the Belief (L-355)

285.  ‘Aa-manar-Rasuulu  bi-maaa  ‘un-zila  ‘ilay-hi  mir-Rab-bihii  wal-Mu’-minuun. Kullun ‘aa-mana  Billaahi  wa  ma-laaa-‘ikati-Hii  wa  kutubiHii  wa  rusuliH.  Laa  nufarriqu  bay-na  ‘ahadim-mir-rusuliH.  Wa  qaaluu  sami’-naa  wa  ‘ata’-naa.  GufraanaKa  Rabbanaa  wa  ‘ilayKal-masiir.

285.  The Messenger has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, as did the believers. They all have believed in God, and His angels, and His scriptures, and His messengers: “We make no distinction between any of His messengers.” And they say, “We hear and we obey. Your forgiveness, our Lord. To you is the destiny.”

According to the narrations, purpose of revealing this verse is that, when the verse before it was revealed, “And whether you make known what is in your minds or hide it, God will bring you to account for it”, then the Companions (Razii-Allaahu ‘anhum wa  ra-zuu ‘Anhu) of the last Messenger, Muhammad (ﷺ) frightened and were confounded. They made mention to the Messenger of God (ﷺ), then he (ﷺ) commanded, “Quuluu  sami’-naa  wa  ‘ata’-naa” (Say: We hear, and we obey) that is to say; Do not hesitate even a particle to admit the orders of God, as and when you see much difficulty or intricacy in His Commands and Instructions. Moreover, you must be ready to obey with stability.

The Companions (Razii-Allaahu ‘anhum wa  ra-zuu ‘Anhum) obeyed the Messenger (ﷺ), then following words were spoken by them without any delay, “We believed in God and we obeyed His orders. That is to say, we are ready to obey and act upon the commands of God without any hesitation. God liked it very much and then this verse was revealed, which has been described in this lesson.

God praised the Belief of His Messenger (ﷺ) and his Companions (Razii-Allaahu ‘anhum wa  ra-zuu ‘Anhu), due to which their hearts were satisfied. The Companions (Razii-Allaahu ‘anhum wa   ra-zuu ‘Anhu) said: We make no distinction between any of His messengers (Peace be upon them), moreover we admit all of them as the Prophet and Messenger of God, not that we believe in some of them and do not believe in others. We have full faith that we have to return unto You and attend Your Court. This perception of responsibility before God teaches the mankind goodness and fear of God. https://youtu.be/bMUKFAqJBoU

God Will Settle Your Accounts

God Will Settle Your Accounts (L-354)

284.  Lillaahi  maa  fis-samaa-waati  wa  maa  fil-’arz.  Wa  ‘in-  tubduu  maa  fiii  ‘an-fusikum  ‘aw  tukh-fuuhu  yuhaa-sibkum-  biHillaah.  Fa-yag-firu  limany-yashaaa-‘u  wa  yu-‘azzibu  many-yashaaa’-  WAllaahu  ‘alaa  kulli  shay-‘in- Qadiir.

284.  To God belongs everything in the heavens and the earth. Whether you reveal what is within your selves, or conceal it, God will call you to account for it. He forgives whom He wills, and He punishes whom He wills. God is Able to do all things.

Last section (Rakuu’) of Surah (Chapter) Baqarah (The Cow) begins from this verse. It is a Style of Explanation of the Holy Qur’an that original sense of every Surah is repeated at its end. Moreover, at the end of every verse, any particular word comes out of the Attributes of God, which manifests the text of the entire verse. In addition, this matter is also included in the arrangement of the Word of God that It describes over and over in between the different orders and instructions as Belief in God, Fear of God and Belief in the Day of Resurrection.

In this connection, more part is extending over the financial matters. In the beginning, emphasis and incitement is for spending in the Way of God. The badness has been indicated after describing the matter by means of different similitudes in a pleasant manner, which is the biggest stoppage in this Path of Goodness, that is to say, unlawful earning in the form of Usury Business, besides this, turning in Trading and dishonesty making a man hardhearted and unlucky. Therefore, evidence and the writing (an agreement, etc) are determined particularly necessary.

At the end, it is commanded that the entire property, assets and wealth, creatures of the world – earth and skies belong to God. If you will spend something for His pleasure and in accord with His order, then there is neither any beneficence of yours, nor you will suffer any kind of shortage in your wealth. He will bring you to account for your external, internal and everything. He has full control over deliverance and torment, and He is Able to do all things. https://youtu.be/0dpQEJjz_fk
