The end of the evil-livers (2) (L-3022)

وَمَأْوَىٰكُمُ ٱلنَّارُ وَمَا لَكُم مِّن نَّٰصِرِينَ 34b  ذَٰلِكُم بِأَنَّكُمُ ٱتَّخَذْتُمْ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ هُزُوًا وَغَرَّتْكُمُ ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَا فَٱلْيَوْمَ لَا يُخْرَجُونَ مِنْهَا وَلَا هُمْ يُسْتَعْتَبُونَ 35

34b.  wa  maa’-waakumun-Naaru  wa  maa  lakum-min-naasiriin. 35.  Zaalikum  bi  ‘annakumut-takhaztum  ‘AayaaTillaahi  huzu-wanw-wa  garret-kumul-  hayaatud-dunyaa.  Fal-Yawma laa  yukhra-juuna  minhaa  wa  laa  hum  yusta'-tabuun.

34b.  Your abode is the Fire, and there are no saviours for you. 35. That is because you took God’s revelations for a joke, and the worldly life lured you.” So today they will not be brought out of it, and they will not be allowed to repent.

Along with the information given in previous verse, it will be said to them: After suffering from the calamities of the Day of Resurrection, your perpetual abode and residence is the Fire. As you did not find any supporter or helper earlier, like this there will be no one who may save you from the Hell. Only God Almighty will be Protecting Friend after death.

Neither there will be any intercessor and nor helper, but that to whom He will permit by His Kindness to intercede. Its reason is that you will be punished because you heard the Revelations of God Almighty and then ridiculed. You observed the Tokens of God Almighty and laughed at them. You were pleased on apparent jollity and splendour of the world and fell in love with its seductive pomp and show. Our Messenger (ﷺ) caused you to understand but you were careless. Therefore, you will neither be removed from the Hell, nor will you be asked to appease Allaah for pleasing Him. Such opportunity is available only in this world.

The end of the evil-livers (1) (L-3021)

وَبَدَا لَهُمْ سَيِّـَٔاتُ مَا عَمِلُوا۟ وَحَاقَ بِهِم مَّا كَانُوا۟ بِهِۦ يَسْتَهْزِءُونَ 33   وَقِيلَ ٱلْيَوْمَ نَنسَىٰكُمْ كَمَا نَسِيتُمْ لِقَآءَ يَوْمِكُمْ هَٰذَا 34a

33.  Wa  badaa  lahum  sayyi-‘aatu  maa  'amiluu  wa  haaqa  bihim- maa  kaanuu  bihii  yastahzi-'uun. 34a.  Wa  qiilal-Yawma  nan-saakum  kamaa  nasiitum  Liqaaa-'a  yawmikum  haazaa.

33. The evils of what they did will become evident to them, and the very thing they ridiculed will haunt them. 34a. And it will be said, “Today We forget you, as you forgot the encounter of this Day of yours.

It is command: Hear also that what will happen on the Day of Resurrection! The people who do not believe in the Hour, consider that reward and punishment of deeds is nothing but self-made word and they ridicule of it, their all such wickedness will be kept before them on the Day of Reckoning and they will see their every deed clearly. Reward and punishment; of which they used to ridicule, will turn to them and they will be wrapped from all around. Then their eyes will be opened and they will see hither and thither in confusion for seeking any place of refuge or any such person who may help and have them released from the Doom. But nothing will be visible save the Doom.

God Almighty will cause them to hear His Commandment: Today We will forget you as you forgot the meeting of this Day of yours. You were disbelievers of this Day. Frightful torments of the Doomsday will see you again and again. Who can help you while We have forgotten you?

There will be no Savior on the Day of Resurrection save the Mercy of God Almighty.

Proof of haughtiness

 

Proof of haughtiness (L-3020)

وَإِذَا قِيلَ إِنَّ وَعْدَ ٱللَّهِ حَقٌّ وَٱلسَّاعَةُ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهَا قُلْتُم مَّا نَدْرِى مَا ٱلسَّاعَةُ إِن نَّظُنُّ إِلَّا ظَنًّا وَمَا نَحْنُ بِمُسْتَيْقِنِينَ 32

32.  Wa  ‘izaa  qiila  ‘inna  wa'-dAllaahi  haqqunw-was-Saa-'atu  laa  rayba  fiihaa  qultum-maa  nadrii  mas-Saa-'atu,  ‘in-nazunnu  ‘illaa  zannanw-wa  maa  nahnu  bimustayqiniin.

32. And when it was said, “The promise of God is true, and of the Hour there is no doubt,” you said, “We do not know what the Hour is; we think it is only speculation; we are not convinced.”

It is being described: Messenger of God Almighty (ﷺ) conveyed His Scripture to the people, recited its verses before them and caused them to know the way of acting upon its Commandments practically. Now the people who deny this all, they do not have any suitable reason. They have been following temporary worldly relishes and say: Everything which we like; is only this world. Why should we be entangled in restrictions willingly or unwillingly by having belief in Allaah, Messenger, Qur’an, and live a life of piety?

God Almighty will ask from them on the Day of Resurrection: Why did you disbelieve in Our Revelations which We had sent by Our trustworthy Messenger, in whom you also used to believe that he was true and honest? It is commanded: Reason of their disbelief is nothing but pride and haughtiness. They got ready to commit sins because they were proud. And when they were informed that the Day of Resurrection was Inevitable, Promise of God Almighty can never be a lie, and there is no space of doubt in the Day of Judgment, then they looked up and began to say carelessly: We don’t know what the Day of Resurrection is. It is only a self-fabricated and supposed thing. We deem sometime that perhaps it will come, but this thought grows because you say every time that the Hour will come when the wrongdoers will be punished. How can we be convinced of it? It is only a little thought.

This is the way of those who hear from true and reliable people but believe not and say: We shall believe after looking. The end of such people is not good.

The Disbelievers

                                                                   

The Disbelievers (L-3019)

وَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوٓا۟ أَفَلَمْ تَكُنْ ءَايَٰتِى تُتْلَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ فَٱسْتَكْبَرْتُمْ وَكُنتُمْ قَوْمًا مُّجْرِمِينَ 31

31.  Wa  ‘ammal-laziina   kafaruuu  ‘afalam  takun  ‘Aayaatee  tutlaa  'alaykum  fas-tak-bartum  wa  kun-tum qawmam-mujrimiin.

31. But as for those who disbelieved: “Were My revelations not recited to you? But you turned arrogant, and were guilty people.”

It is commanded: Listen to the circumstances of those people now who turned away from Holy Qur’an and began to say: We shall believe in that only which shall we see with our eyes. We don’t believe in hearsay.

In fact, this is strange because many are such matters which are accepted in the world if those are described by any respectable person, because without accepting them; business cannot be carried on, but sometimes if we deny them; we have to suffer. Many are such things which everyone cannot see and nor get an opportunity of experiencing. Even then the people believe as they would have believed after observing or experiencing. Main reason of it is that the informer is considered by them a reliable and true person.

The root of having belief in Holy Qur’an is the same that genuineness and honesty of its bringer Muhammad (ﷺ) is bright like the sun. He spurned the advantages of this world, did not like worldly wealth, and when wealth and dignity were presented to him; he turned away from the both and said: What is kept in this world, how many days will it exist and what shall I do with it? In short, he (ﷺ) suffered and faced trials but demanded nothing from anybody. Only by the Command of God Almighty, he made arrangements of the both worlds’ betterment for the mankind. The people do not meditate in it that who can be more trustworthy than such intelligent and unselfish Mankind  (ﷺ).

Accordingly, it is commanded: God Almighty will ask from the deniers: My Messenger (ﷺ) recited My verses before you, then why did you not admit them? You used to put your trust in him and consider that he was true, then why did you disobey him? The only reason of it can be that you yourselves were obstinate and used to consider yourselves greater than others. You had become habituated of being involved in evil deeds. Believers, doers of good

 

Believers, doers of good (L-3018)

إِنَّا كُنَّا نَسْتَنسِخُ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ 29b   فَأَمَّا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ فَيُدْخِلُهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ فِى رَحْمَتِهِۦ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْمُبِينُ 30

29b.  ‘Innaa  kunnaa  nas-tansikhu  maa  kuntum  ta'-maluun. 30.  Fa-‘ammal-laziina  ‘aamaanuu  wa  'amilus-saalihaati  fa-yudkhiluhum  Rabbuhum  fii  Rahmatih. Zaalika  huwal-Fawzul-mubiin.

29b.  We have been transcribing what you have been doing.” 30. As for those who believed and did righteous deeds, their Lord will admit them into His mercy. That is the clear triumph.

Listen to the recitation of Holy Qur’an. It commands to the Messenger Muhammad (ﷺ): Call and cause the entire human beings to hear; whether they live anywhere in the East or in the West and explain before them: Think before you do any work in the world, work carefully and cautiously. God Almighty has appointed two angels (Peace be upon them) with every individual and they have been commanded: Note and record immediately this person’s every act and movement; whether that is very little, whether he looks towards anything, shakes his finger or makes a signal with his eye.

On the Day of Resurrection, everyone will find in his Sheet Roll that when, where and what he did. His entire deeds and movements will be judged according to the Commandments of Holy Qur’an. And the same Commandments will become a pair of scales for weighing the acts of everyone.

The first Commandments is: Believe in God Almighty. The second is: Do the works which are good according to the Commandments of Holy Qur’an.

The person, who believed and did good works, God Almighty will admit him in the Garden by His Mercy. It is the greatest success which a mankind can achieve, and achieving it is not so much difficult, provided that the mankind must pay full attention to this side. It is the essence of the Religion Islam. You would be successful if you believed and did good works in accord with the Commands of Holy Qur’an. That is Satan who prevents from it.

The state of the Hour

 

The state of the Hour (L-3017)

كُلُّ أُمَّةٍ تُدْعَىٰٓ إِلَىٰ كِتَٰبِهَا ٱلْيَوْمَ تُجْزَوْنَ مَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ 28b   هَٰذَا كِتَٰبُنَا يَنطِقُ عَلَيْكُم بِٱلْحَقِّ 29a

28b.  Kullu  ‘ummatin- tud-'aaa  ‘ilaa  Kitaabihaa.  ‘Al-Yawma  tujzawna  maa  kuntum ta'-maluun. 29a.  Haazaa  KitaabuNaa  yantiqu  'alaykum  bil-haqq.

28b.  every community will be called to its Book: “Today you are being repaid for what you used to do. 29a. This Book of Ours speaks about you in truth.

Earlier it was found out that knowledge of some such matters and circumstances, knowing of which is necessary for the betterment of the mankind, can be acquired only by the Revelation. And the Revelation is sent towards that person who is suitable for this purpose. God Almighty appoints such man as His Prophet. His sense accepts the truth immediately. He does not mix up himself anything in the Revelation, and conveys it to the slaves of God Almighty as it is revealed. Recognise him (ﷺ) and obey his sayings. Last Prophet and Messenger is Muhammad (ﷺ). And the last Scripture which is sent to him by means of Inspiration is this Holy Qur’an. After it, neither any Prophet nor any Messenger will be appointed and nor any scripture will be sent.

It is commanded: The people who did neither obey the Messenger (ﷺ) and nor acted upon the Commandments of this Scripture; but falsified the both (Let us flee to God), they will be great losers after death. Entire parties of such people will be crouching with fear on the Day of Resurrection. Conduct sheet of every individual will be handed over to them and then it will be said to them: Read your character books. Every such thing has been recorded in it which you used to do in the world. Suitable retribution of your every work will be given to you. 

It will be commanded: It is a ledger of your entire worldly works which have been recorded by angels appointed by Us. Nothing is written wrong in it. These are the matters which cannot be known by observing or practically. True News (L-3016)

) وَلِلَّهِ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ وَيَوْمَ تَقُومُ ٱلسَّاعَةُ يَوْمَئِذٍ يَخْسَرُ ٱلْمُبْطِلُونَ 27   وَتَرَىٰ كُلَّ أُمَّةٍ جَاثِيَةً 28a

27.  Wa  Lillaahi  Mulkus-samaawaati  wal-  ‘arz.  Wa Yawma  taquumus-Saa-'atu  Yawma-'iziny-yakhsarul-mubtiluun. 28a.  Wa  taraa  kulla  ‘ummatin- JAASIYAH.

27. To God belongs the kingship of the heavens and the earth. On the Day when the Hour takes place, on that Day the falsifiers will lose. 28a. You will see every community on its knees;

There are two ways for mankind to acquire knowledge – drawing conclusions by observing the things in front, or knowing the news by hearing from a reliable person. Holy Qur’an describes: Whatever in the world is present before eyes or that what has been happening, every individual reaches different conclusions by observing them according to own thought and understanding, and then he sets up his opinion in accordance with them, and works according to that opinion. Approach of common people’s opinion is only that when they saw the fruits ripened, they understood that these were ready for eating, so they ate.

Those whose common sense is better than them, they say: Other people also have right in ripened fruits, so we should eat with willingness of one another. And those who are more wise, they make rules and laws for living altogether, so that the people avoid wrangling.

Holy Qur’an describes to the mankind: It is right that you must follow the judgement of those who are more intelligent than you. But most wise from you is that person; who draws conclusion by considering seriously in the existence of the universe and its running according to a determined rule that its Creator is God Almighty; Whose Command is over the heavens and the earth everywhere. Then he infers that deeds of every mankind will be examined on a Day. And the Day of Resurrection will come when the people who disobeyed the Commandments of God Almighty and followed the ignorant, will be great losers. The Person, who informs concerning these matters, is the wisest and he is Muhammad, the last Messenger of God Almighty (ﷺ). God Almighty has informed him by means of Inspiration concerning all that which was not understood completely by others, then all useful matters collected in Holy Qur’an and gave to him (ﷺ), so that he may convey to human beings. Now all of us must follow those Commandments which no one else can describe.

Those Commandments are: The Ruler of the entire universe is God Almighty. Indeed, the Day of Resurrection will come. The disobedient of God Almighty will be great losers. قُلِ ٱللَّهُ يُحْيِيكُمْ ثُمَّ يُمِيتُكُمْ ثُمَّ يَجْمَعُكُمْ إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ 26

26.  QuLillaahu  yuhyiikum  summa  yumiitukum  summa  yajma-'ukum  ‘ilaa  Yawmil- Qiyaamati  laa  rayba  fiihi  wa  laakinna  ‘aksaran-naasi  laa  ya'-lamuun.  (Section 3/19)

26. Say, “God gives you life, then He makes you die; then He gathers you for the Day of Resurrection, about which there is no doubt. But most people do not know.”

In this verse, way of replying to those people who utter lies, has been taught. They already have decided that they will not obey any other than themselves in any condition. Therefore, they say something like that word for putting off by which they may shake off, whether their saying would be nonsense. Obviously, it is being said to them: On the Day of Resurrection, all human beings will be reproduced. And they say in reply, “show us reproducing the mankind in this world”.

It is commanded: Say to them clearly: God Almighty has shown the pattern of His Divine Power by bringing you yourselves to life in this world, now what extra do you want? Like this; when your time will be over, you will have to die and you will be annihilated as you were earlier. Now again He will bring you to life after death and gather all of you at one place on the Day of Resurrection. Therefore, there is no space of doubt in reproducing you after death. Now hear concerning the Day of Judgment, surely it shall come. Having belief in Our Messenger (ﷺ) is better for you, who does not say any word himself, but says that which We have revealed to him. But most of the people don’t know and nor they wish to know.

From this simple and clear answer, some such things come out; from which not only the illiterate; but educated people also are careless. Prolonging contention with him is useless who gets into a crooked debate. One must be silent after speaking all the truth simply before him. It depends on him whether he admits or rejects. By rejecting the truth, he will suffer and repent anytime and anywhere.

It also has been commanded in this verse: Way of acquiring knowledge is not only experience but the news given by a true person is also a source of knowledge. Moreover, knowledge of science is also acquired like this that only a few people make trials. Other all admit by hearing from them.
