Review of “The Star”

Review of “The Star” (L-3146)

When the mankind will observe the things around him deeply, he will find that everything’s place, speed, stay and running is not uncontrolled, but according to an established order and prescribed rule. Even the stars which are visible on the sky, their brightening, rising and setting are also in accordance with a determined way and manner. Therefore, he must come to the conclusion that human beings also, who are seen different from one another in consideration of their capabilities and works, their difference too is not ordinary and unarranged. But everyone’s looking; hearing, understanding and concluding are under an eternal arrangement and rule. Whatever every mind thinks and whatever every individual decides, it has a purpose which will be achieved. Every individual has a desire which will be fulfilled. Whatever Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) thinks and says, is - to guide the mankind towards the Straight Path. He has believed in whatsoever he has seen and listened.

The mankind must have to abide by some principles for making his life successful. Such principles were conveyed to the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) by means of an Angel (peace be upon him), to whom he saw twice in his real form. He appeared on the uppermost horizon, then came near Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) slowly and gradually; even he reached, till he was distant two bow’s length. So he caused Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) to hear some Revelations, which he learnt by heart and believed perfectly that he was Gabriel, the angel who was sent by Allaah Almighty for delivering the Revelation. It was the Message (Alcoran) of Allaah Almighty for the guidance of the entire human beings.

Second time, the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) saw the angel, Gabriel (peace be upon him) when he went for Ascension (Mi’-raaj) at highest height of the heavens (the lote-tree of the utmost boundary - Sidratil-muntahaa), where there the Light of Allaah Almighty was manifest everywhere and the Paradise was near it. The Messenger saw this all and observed the great Signs of Allaah Almighty. Neither the eye erred in looking and nor the heart misunderstood. Accordingly, O mankind! Believe in Muhammad that he is Messenger of Allaah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him), listen to the Commandments of Holy Qur’an; understand and obey. Your self-made gods are useless. Only Allaah is True God, Who has no partner in any work. Angels (peace be upon them) are His slaves who perform their duties which have been prescribed for them. Verily the Day of Resurrection will come and retribution will be given to every individual according to personal deeds. You must avoid big sins. Allaah Almighty will forgive your little sins. For causing the same to understand and frightening from the consequence of evil deeds, many Prophets (peace be upon them) came in the Past, who explained useful matters before the mankind. And now at the end, Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) has come for causing to know and warning. Therefore, you must listen to him, bow down before Allaah Almighty and worship Him only.

It is said: When the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) reached the end of this Chapter, fell prostrate, the people were so much influenced that the idolaters too fell prostrate along with him.

It is the time to understand!

It is the time to understand! (L-3145)

56.  Haazaa  Naziirum-minan-nuzu-ril-‘uulaa.

57.  ‘Azifatil-‘Aazifah.

58.  Laysa  lahaa  min- duuNillaahi  kaashifah.

59.  ‘Afamin  hazal-hadiisi  ta'-jabuun.

60.  Wa  taz-hakuuna  wa  laa  tabkuun.

61.  Wa  ‘antum saamiduun.

62.  Fas-juduu  Lillaahi  wa'-buduu.  (‘As-Sajdah Bow Down) (Section – 3/7)

56. This is a warner of the warners of old.

57. The threatened Hour is nigh.

58. None beside Allah can disclose it.

59. Marvel you then at this statement,

60. And laugh and not weep,

61. While you amuse yourselves?

62. Rather prostrate yourselves before Allah and serve Him.

It was described in the previous verses: The Divine Power of Allaah Almighty appears clearly from that which is visible on all sides, below and overhead. Nothing from the entire universe is able to be worshipped of the mankind. They err who bow down before others. For saving the mankind from the same error, Allaah Almighty sent His Prophets (peace be upon them) from time to time along with Holy Books, in which all useful matters were mentioned.

It is commanded in these verses: Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) is like the last Ring of the Chain of Prophets (peace be upon him) who has come (along with the last Holy Book sent by Allaah Almighty - Alcoran) to frighten the entire human beings from the consequence of wrong deeds. Holy Qur’an is a summary of all useful commandments mentioned in previous Holy Scriptures. Do you surprise after hearing this Word and laugh, whereas it is the situation of weeping due to fear of Allaah Almighty? Bear in mind! The Day of Resurrection is near to come which can neither be put off and nor someone else can tell concerning its natural condition or fixed time except Allaah Almighty. Give up your obstinacy and bow down (prostrate) before Allaah Almighty. Worship Him only.

Warning for wrong thinkers (c) (L-3144)

51.  Wa  Samuuda  famaaa  ‘abqaa.

52.  Wa  qawma  Nuuhim-min- qablu  ‘innahum  kaanuu  hum  ‘azlama  wa  ‘atgaa.

53.  Wal- mu'-tafikata  ‘ahwaa.

54.  Fagash-shaahaa  maa  gash-shaa.

55.  Fabi-‘ayyi  ‘aalaaa-'i  Rabbika  tatamaaraa.

51. And (the tribe of) Thamud He spared not;

52. And the folk of Noah aforetime, Lo! they were more unjust and more rebellious;

53. And Al-Mu'tafikah He destroyed

54. So that there covered them that which did cover.

55. Concerning which then, of the bounties of your Lord, can you dispute?

It is commanded: When Thamud, ({the people who are called ‘Aad ‘Ukhraa, because they rose up after destruction of the tribe of ‘Aad (first) and began to rebel like them}, chose the same way, then Allaah Almighty appointed His Messenger to Salih (peace be upon him) and sent for warning to them. But when they disregarded, Allaah Almighty punished them due to their rebellion and destroyed them. No one from them was saved.

Like this, Allaah Almighty did not spare the folk of Noah (peace be upon him), before the tribe of Thamud, punished and destroyed them because they were wrongdoers. The people of the folk of Noah (peace be upon him) troubled and molested always to him. These were the people who made difference in grades of human beings among themselves. Rich people became superior and considered that laborers and workers were mean. It was their first crime. Most of them were stubborn and headstrong also.

After that it is commanded: The people of the folk of Lot (peace be upon him) were even more unjust and oppressing. Allaah Almighty overturned, hurled down their townships and caused stones to rain upon them. They were ruined. Purifying the world from the mischievous is a great blessing of your Lord because standing firm of the world without it is impossible. You can arrange your worldly life and the life of the Hereafter by doing good works. If they were not destroyed, you would not have been. Then why are you not thankful to Him and why do you not obey His Commandments?

Warning for wrong thinkers (b) (L-3143)

42.  Wa  ‘anna  ‘ilaa  Rabbikal-Muntahaa.

43.  Wa  ‘annaHuu  Huwa  ‘az-haka  wa  ‘abkaa.

44.  Wa  ‘annaHuu  Huwa  ‘amaata  wa  ‘ahyaa.

45.  Wa  ‘annaHuu  khalaqaz-zawjayniz-zakara  wal-‘unsaa.

46.  Min-nutfatin  ‘izaa  tumnaa.

47.  Wa  ‘anna ' alayhin-Nash-‘atal- ‘Ukhraa.

48.  Wa  ‘annaHuu  Huwa  ‘agnaa  wa  ‘aqnaa.

49.  Wa  ‘annaHuu  Huwa  Rabbush-Shi'-raa.

50.  Wa  ‘annaHuuu  ‘ahlaka  'Aada-nil-‘Uulaa.

42. And that your Lord, He is the goal;

43. And that He it is Who makes laugh, and makes weep,

44. And that He it is Who gives death and gives life;

45. And that He creates the two spouses, the male and the female,

46. From a drop (of seed) when it is poured forth;

47. And that He has ordained the second bringing forth;

48. And that He it is Who enriches and contents;

49. And that He it is Who is the Lord of Sirius;

50. And that He destroyed the former (tribe of) ‘Aad,

It is commanded: Every mankind will have to go back to Allaah Almighty, Who will give remuneration of everyone’s personal deeds (whether those are good or wrong). He is Who makes one laugh and weep, causes death and gives life, creates the two mates - the male and the female from a sperm-drop when it is emitted in the place where anything is produced (womb). Surely He will reproduce the entire human beings after death on the Day of Resurrection. It is He Who gives strength of earning, wealth and treasures by His Mercy and Kindness. He is the Lord of Sirius, (which was being adored by some people of Arab who used to consider that everything was given to them by its effect). Everything which we possess or is given to us, is produced by Allaah Almighty Who destroyed the former people of `Aad, because they were disobedient and disbelievers. Like this, all such people will be ruined who disbelieve and disobey.

33.  ‘Afara-'ay-tal-lazii  tawallaa.

34.  Wa  ‘a'-taa  qaliilanw-wa  ‘akdaa.

35.  ‘A-'indahuu  'ilmul-gaybi  fahuwa  yaraa.

36.  ‘Am  lam  yunabba’  bimaa  fii  Suhuhfi  Muusaa.

40.  Wa  ‘anna  sa'-yahuu  sawfa  yuraa.

41.  Summa  yujzaahul-jazaaa-'al-‘ awfaa.

33. Did you (O Muhammad) observe him who turned away,

34. And gave a little, then was grudging?

35. Has he knowledge of the Unseen so that he see?

36. Or has he not had news of what is in the books of Moses

37. And Abraham who paid his debt:

38. That no laden one shall bear another's load,

39. And that man has only that for which he makes effort,

40. And that his effort will be seen.

41. And afterward he will be repaid for it with fullest payment;

There are some such people in the world who had some faith in Islam, then their hearts were hardened Or they spent something for the cause of Islam and then ceased. A man alike was Walid bin Mughiirah, who was desirous to embrace Islam but did not embrace. Someone said to him: Why do you leave the way of your elders? He said: I fear the Doom of Allaah. The other person said: If you give me a sum (determined), I am ready to suffer the punishment at your place. He gave sum money, but then ignored. Such people are being caused to understand: Does he have knowledge of the Unseen, so he sees that someone else will pay his penalty? Say to him: Did you not listen to the Commandments mentioned in the Scriptures of Moses and Abraham (peace be upon them)? Abraham (peace be upon him) used to fulfil his word. There; it has been described clearly and now the same is being repeated again in Holy Qur’an that no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of any other. “As you sow so you shall reap”. Every individual is responsible of own deeds. Retribution of personal worldly deeds will be given to everyone on the Day of Judgement. Their efforts and hard labour of toil will be examined on the Day of Resurrection. And there will be full reward or punishment according to own works. Therefore, every person must obey the Commands of Islam and try to do good works in the light of Islamic teachings.
