When Our clarifying Verses are recited to them, their only argument is to
say, “Bring back our ancestors, if you are truthful.” |
State of such people was described in the previous verse; who think nothing but concerning apparent things of the world. They consider that mankind must fulfill his sensual desires till the time he has been living, take all good things in his possession and let not others to take something, and give them less than enough who are ready to serve him for their livelihood only. In short they think, “Live and enjoy luxurious life, but die when death comes”. Sense of such people is crooked.
It is commanded: Our verses are recited to them as clear evidences; in which proofs are described to them that they will be brought back to eternal life again after death and there will be no death after that life. If you are desirous to acquire rest and peace of that life then you have to abide by the commandments of Holy Qur’an, obey the Sayings of Muhammad, Messenger of God Almighty (grace glory, blessings and peace be upon him), otherwise you will have to dwell always in doom and grief.
When they do not have any reasonable argument against it, then they say with trickery: We don’t believe in it that the mankind shall come back to life again after death. If you desire to prove that you are speaking the truth, bring back our dead forefathers and show us, otherwise we shall not admit your saying which has not been proved practically.
In this verse, those people have been disclosed who do not get ready to admit the matters which are not proved practically. They are being informed: Some are such matters which are required to be admitted on the sayings of a trustworthy person, although you have not seen them yourselves and nor can those be experienced. The speaker must be truthful (whose purity by his behaviour and evidence would have been proved by true people) for having belief in such matters. After that denying him is nothing but war.
