Lesson

The aim of this Chapter is: To explain about Allaah Almighty and His all excellence i.e. He is One. He has neither any associate nor any partner. All creatures like animals, birds, beasts (of prey or other), cattle, demons, mankind, Angels, Prophets, Saints, Spiritual Guides and Messengers (peace be upon Them) etc. the entire creatures are His servants. None of them can do anything without His Command. Worship none but Him only. Ask or pray not for a boon from any creature, nor seek any other for help except Allaah Almighty. In this regard, this Chapter (Surah) is an Explanation of Surah 1- ‘Al-Faatihah (The Opening) and Surah  112 - ‘Ikhlaas (The Unity). That, which has been described briefly in those both Chapters, has been explained vastly in this Chapter.

Every mention, every event and even that every sentence/verse of this Chapter keeps this aim in front that God Almighty is One. The entire Powers and Authorities are only of Him. And all the things, whether those are biggest, are worthless before His Greatness and Magnificence.

It is commanded that Allaah Almighty is the Omnipotent and Excelling over His slaves (all creatures). Whether a mankind has any greatest dignity, anyhow he is His servant. Moses, Jesus and Muhammad (peace be upon Them) are also the Servants of Allaah Almighty and helpless before Him. He commands, and it is the only duty of the Servants to obey His Commands. They take just pride in being His Servants.

This Promise has been mentioned very clearly in 2nd Kalimah “The Word of Testimony” that “I bear witness that (there is) no god except Allaah; One is He, no partner hath He, and I bear witness that Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon Him) is His Servant and Messenger”. Think a little, then who can be greater than the Last Messenger of Allaah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon Him), who turn away from being His servant? If anyone says, “Who is witness of your this claim?” Ask him, “Who can be biggest witness in your opinion”? Common sense replies: That can be the Biggest Witness, Who is Aware and Knower of the reality of everything. And none has this excellence except Allaah Almighty, so He is the Witness between Me and you.

The idolaters said to Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon Him): If you are a Messenger, Who is your witness? Allaah Almighty taught His Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon Him) this answer to their question: Say! Allaah Almighty is Witness over my Truth. If becoming ignorant, they ask You: Who is Allaah? And if they show carelessness from Our Revelations, then You should say them: One such Powerful Token is present before you, denial from which, is equal to the denial of one’s own existence. That Token is This “Holy Qur’aan”. Can you say that, this Word can be of any human being? It has invited you Itself: If you consider Me the word of any mankind, then it is a challenge for all human beings forever “make and show the word like Me (Holy Qur’aan)”, and it has claimed: If the entire people of the world try collectively to make any such book equal to the Holy Qur’aan, they will never be able to do so.

While it is not the Word of any human being, then it manifests that surely it would be the Word of that Person, Who Knows more than any mankind, and certainly He is Allaah Almighty, and I, Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon Him) produce Him as My Witness.

The same meaning has been explained in this verse: My Witness is Allaah Almighty and proof of Allaah’s existence is This “Holy Qur’aan”. It is commanded: Unhesitatingly I produce Allaah Almighty as My Witness because I have His Holy Word with Me (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon Him). And you know that this Holy Word cannot be of any other than Allaah Almighty, because the entire human beings have been rendered helpless from producing any such Word like This. Now it is My duty that I should rise up with this Holy Word, Which Allaah Almighty has revealed upon Me, and inform all of them including you, that it is True, what has been written in it, and certainly that person will be ruined, who will go against it.

After so biggest Revelation and Evidence, will you even then continue to cram that Allaah Almighty is not Worshipped alone, but there are some more worshipped? You will be responsible of your own, if you will not give up stupidity. However I shall never bear such witness.
