Further punishments (L-200)

Further punishments (L-200)

وَلا يُكَلِّمُهُمُ اللَّهُ يَومَ القِيامَةِ وَلا يُزَكّيهِم وَلَهُم عَذابٌ أَليمٌ174b.

174b.  wa  laa  yukal-limu-humUllaahu  Yawmal-Qi-yaamati  wa  laa yuzakkii-him.  Wa  lahum  ‘azaabun  ‘aliim.

174b.  And God will not speak to them on the Day of Resurrection, nor will He purify them, and they will have a painful punishment.

Now, three more punishments are being narrated for such people in this verse:

  • God will not speak to them on the Day of Resurrection. So these bad scholars will be kept deprived of the Mercy and Kindness of God. The Creator of the universe and Master of the Doomsday will turn away His face from them. It will be deprivation of His Mercy and declaration of His anger.
  • They would never be chaste from the sins. Due to their sins God will throw them into the Hell. Purification and correction will never be obtainable by them. God will forgive some other evildoers after punishment by His Mercy and purify them. But these bad scholars will remain always in the Fire for burning. Neither their sins will fall off, nor will they become chaste and nor they will enter the Paradise.
  • Horrible doom will be for them; not only physically but also mentally and spiritually, and they will never get rid of this trouble. Our God! Save us from such Doom.
It is known from this verse that how a big evil is “to hide the Just, not to disclose the Truth, to interpret false of the true talks and expose wrongfully the Orders of God, which has so many punishments”. It is a very great sin because due to this sin, the entire nation goes to ruin and falls into the dark well of the stray by leaving the Straight Path. If, on one side; speaking the truth and fearlessness are superior qualities then; on the other side; hypocrisy and hiding the truth are the worst moral crimes, and the Messenger (ﷺ) has explained that “speaking the truth before any cruel ruler is Jihad (to try and strive). https://youtu.be/hQMP1zabu9Y
