Certain Learned Persons Fall Prostrate Before Allah

LESSON # 409 FROM HOLY QUR’AN
Certain Learned Persons Fall Prostrate Before Allah
Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3)
Verse –113 of 200, Section –12    (Part – 4)

They are not all alike. Of the People of the Scripture there is a staunch community who recite the Revelations of Allah in the hours of night, falling prostrate (before Him).
Laysuu  sawaaa-‘aa.  Min  ‘Ahlil-Kitaabi  ‘ummatun-  qaaa-‘imatuny-yat-luuna  ‘Aa-yaatillaahi  ‘aanaaa-‘al-lay-li  wa  hum  yasjuduun.

Lesson

In the previous lessons, the religious condition, social, economical and political circumstances, and after life result of the People of the Scripture have been checked. Due to one sentence of these verses, the Muslims were taken in for a long time (they remained in deception).

Allah Almighty commanded, “They have earned anger from their Lord and provoked”. The Muslims took from it that ‘the Jews have been bereaved of sovereignty and kingdom forever. They will never become the king of any state/government’.

In May 1949, an Empire named Israel established with the support of United States of America, United Kingdom and Russia (then Union of Soviet Socialist Republic) upon a small part of holy land Palestine. Now the Muslims imagined, “How did it happen so?” whereas, Allah Almighty had commanded them in these verses clearly that they might escape only in two forms from the wrath, disgrace and wretchedness. Either they grasp (hold fast) the rope of Allah Almighty or make an agreement with other people and nations, and get their support. It is a universal truth that the so-called State of Israel exists; her existence depends upon the base of enmity by other Sovereignty, which suppose the Muslims as their own enemies. Individually the Jews have not too much ability to stand at their own feet.

It is being commanded in this verse, “You should not consider the Jews and the Christians equal. Some of them are pious persons also. Their three qualities are being described here. Remaining will be discussed in succeeding verse:

1.   There is a staunch community (who are on the straight path).

2.    They recite the Revelations of Allah Almighty in the hours of night and in the silence of night.

3.   They also fall prostrate before Allah Almighty.
