Introduction - Chapter “ZUKHRUF” - (ORNAMENTS OF GOLD) – 43 (L-2963)
According to the order of Holy Qur'an, this is forty third Chapter; which was revealed during the middle times of stay at Makkah. Name of this Chapter is Zukhruf (Ornaments of Gold). It is the 4th Chapter from those seven, which begin from the words “Haa-Miiim”. There are seven Sections in this Chapter. The attention is drawn again towards Holy Qur’an in it that very graceful and deep matters have been mentioned in it. It is said to the people of Makkah: This full Scripture will have to be revealed and its Message will have to be spread in the entire world whether you do as many mischiefs and treat with cruelty as much as you want. The people ridicule with the Prophets (Peace be upon them) but at last the mockers fail and the Prophets (Peace be upon them) get success. Why do you not know your Creator Who made the heavens and the earth, causes to rain and arranged ships and loader animals as means of your conveyance in sea and land? You must be grateful to Him and must not associate any other with Him. How irrational is it that you believe that God has children; who are daughters, whereas you yourselves dislike daughters? The mankind does not get ready to leave the customs of his forefathers although he must be seeker of the Truth; leaving everything. Behold! Abraham (Peace be upon him) did not have regard concerning his father and the people of his folk, sought the Truth and followed it, made himself renowned as orthodox that God (Allaah) is One; and left the same legacy for those who came after him. But those people who came after him were involved in silly things of the world and turned away from the right path. When Prophets (Peace be upon them) came and caused them to understand, they denied from obeying them.
Now these people of Makkah make excuses that the Messenger must be famous and rich. Ask them! Are you contractors of Allah’s Messenger-hood for distributing it according to your will? You are proud of worldly wealth and property, which is nothing before Us. We give to whom We will and do not give to whom We will. Messenger-hood is more valuable than all things of the world. It is given to him who is capable of this Rank. We give much wealth to the disbelievers; even they would have made their houses of gold and silver, but We did not give them so much lest the people begin to consider that disbelief is good and the wealth is given to him who chooses disbelief. O ignorant! The actual thing is Mercy of God Almighty which will be for them who will embrace Islam and during the next life they will enjoy in the Paradise. That person will become companion of Satan who will turn away from God Almighty, and he will suffer on the Day of Resurrection. The King of Egypt, Pharaoh rebelled, was haughty of his kingdom, wealth and property and claimed that he was god. Do you know what happened with him? He was drowned very badly along with his Army. Learn from his circumstances. If the person as Jesus (Peace be upon him), whose habits were like angels, cannot become god; then who other can become? Those who are protecting friends and supporters of one another in the world, they will be enemies of one another on the Day of Judgement, except them who believed and did righteous works in the world.
