Obey His Prophet To Love Allah

 

Obey the Messenger (ﷺ) if you love Allah (L-381)

قُل إِن كُنتُم تُحِبّونَ اللَّهَ فَاتَّبِعوني يُحبِبكُمُ اللَّهُ وَيَغفِر لَكُم ذُنوبَكُم ۗ وَاللَّهُ غَفورٌ رَحيمٌ31.  قُل أَطيعُوا اللَّهَ وَالرَّسولَ ۖ فَإِن تَوَلَّوا فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لا يُحِبُّ الكافِرينَ32.

31.  Qul  ‘in-  kuntum  tuhibbuu-nAllaaha  fattabi-‘uunii  yuh-bib-kuMullaahu  wa  yagfir  lakum  zunuubakum.  WAllaahu  Gafuurur-  Rahiim.   32.  Qul  ‘atii-‘Ullaaha  war-Rasuul. Fa-‘in-  tawallaw  fa-‘innAllaah laa yuhibbul-Kaafiriin.

31. Say, “If you love God, then follow me, and God will love you, and will forgive you your sins.” God is Forgiving and Merciful. 32. Say, “Obey God and the Messenger.” But if they turn away—God does not love the faithless.

In the previous verses, God forbade from friendship with the disbelievers. Now it is being commanded that you must love God, but standard for love with Him is hidden in perfect obedience and complete following up His last Messenger (ﷺ). That is to say; if you wish to see, “Who loves his/her Real Lord, then he would be examined with the proof of obedience to Muhammad, the Last Messenger of God (ﷺ)”. How much a person follows the steps of the Messenger of God (ﷺ), he understands the Prophet’s brought Light (Islam) as Flambeau of the Straight Path and follows this Light, so much his/her belief will be perfect.   

He will get reward of love with the Messenger (ﷺ) that God will begin loving that person. Due to blessing of obeying the Prophet (ﷺ), his previous sins will be forgiven and in future, he will deserve kindness and special attention of God. As though, there is no possibility of love by God for him without obeying the Messenger (ﷺ).

The children of Israel and the Christians used to say, “We are sons and beloved of God”. Here it has been declared that the denier of Muhammad (ﷺ), Prophet of God, cannot be His beloved. Whoever wants to become the beloved of God, he should follow the Sayings of Prophet (ﷺ).

The Muslim Devotees have presented an astonishing point from it that God has recommended for His lovers, “If you claim that you love Me then you must follow My lover, Muhammad (ﷺ). Resultantly I shall become your lover and ignore your errors.” He also warned, “If you did not obey God and His Messenger (ﷺ), then you will be counted among the disbelievers and God does not keep the deniers friends.
