Commentary
Daaabba-tun – (of living creatures, that;
which moves), this word has passed in Suratul ‘An-‘aam. Every such
living thing which moves on the earth; is called “daaabba-tun”.
It is commanded: Every thing of the heavens,
whether that seems very grand, and like this, every living thing of the earth,
makes prostration unto God Almighty. And while the living creatures have bowed
down, then what is the question of the lifeless? No one has any power of
disobeying His commandment. Moreover, that splendid creature which is called
angels, have been making prostration before Allah Almighty submissively,
although they are powerful and degree holders.
They know that “our entire power and honor has been
bestowed by Allah Almighty. We are quite helpless before Him. And without His
Command and Permission, we can do nothing”. They do never think about their
greatness. They understand well that “above all of us is our Lord; Allah
Almighty, and under His Command, we all assume our duties according to His
Commandment for which we have been appointed separately. Therefore, we have no
rank save it that we should adore Him and obey most willingly for which He
commands us”. So they perform what is commanded to them.
These verses are of “Prostration”, that is to say,
it is necessary for every that person who recites or hears these two verses
that he/she should make prostration unto Allah Almighty.
