Mercies of Allah (L-2966)
|
وَٱلَّذِى خَلَقَ ٱلْأَزْوَٰجَ كُلَّهَا وَجَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنَ ٱلْفُلْكِ وَٱلْأَنْعَٰمِ مَا تَرْكَبُونَ 12 لِتَسْتَوُۥا۟ عَلَىٰ ظُهُورِهِۦ ثُمَّ تَذْكُرُوا۟ نِعْمَةَ رَبِّكُمْ إِذَا ٱسْتَوَيْتُمْ عَلَيْهِ وَتَقُولُوا۟ سُبْحَٰنَ ٱلَّذِى سَخَّرَ لَنَا هَٰذَا وَمَا كُنَّا لَهُۥ مُقْرِنِينَ 13 وَإِنَّآ إِلَىٰ رَبِّنَا لَمُنقَلِبُونَ 14 |

12. Wallazii khalaqal ‘azwaaja kullahaa wa ja-'ala lakum-minal- fulki wal-‘an-'aami maa tarkabuun. 13. Litasta-wuu 'alaa zuhiirihii summa tazkuruu ni'-mata Rabbikum izas-tawaytum 'alayhi wa taquuluu SubhaanAllazii sakhkhara lanaa haaza wa maa kunnaa lahuu muqriniin. 14. Wa ‘innaaa ‘ilaa Rabbinaa lamunqalibuun. |

12. He
Who created all the pairs; and provided you with ships, and animals on which
you ride. 13.
That you may mount their backs, and remember the favor of your Lord as you
sit firmly upon them, and say, “Glory be to Him Who placed these at our
service; surely we could not have done it by ourselves. 14.
And surely, to our Lord we will return.” |
Understand it also: Only God Almighty is Who created all things of various sorts, which have some connection with one another mutually in any form. Moreover, He bestowed sense and physical strength to you so much that you controlled the animals and ships and drive them towards the places you desire to visit. It is Kindness of God Almighty. You must be thankful to Him in your hearts when you mount ships and animals that He benefits you by giving all such things in your control. And say by your tongues when you have settled upon them: Exalted is He Who has subjected this to us, otherwise we could not have subdued it. You must remember the journey of the Hereafter when you start your journey after mounting on worldly things and say: We shall depart from this world on a day and return to our Lord like this. Indeed we will surely return to our Lord.
