    Commentary
It is commanded: Say to them! It is sure that every deed will be
retaliated, however I don’t know that when it will happen. If your rudeness and
violence crossed the line then you will be punished severely in the world also.
And the righteous people may be bestowed with some fruit of their patience here
too. The Creator of the universe and The Greatest Lord knows that which you say
openly and He is Aware of that also which you say secretly. Say to them that you
do not know “why the respite is being given to you. Perhaps it may be a trial
for you that whether, even now, you understand it or otherwise?”
After conveying this entire Message, Messenger of Allaah
Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) supplicated in the
Court of Allaah Almighty: Our Lord! Judge correctly among us and these
arrogant infidels!
Then he (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) said to
the infidels: Understand or do not understand! it depends upon you. Our Lord is
The Great Beneficent. We complain before Him and seek His help against that
which you threaten us and boast proudly. (Praise be to Allaah – Lessons from
Chapter 21 completed).
