Never let them avert you from the verses

Chapter “Qasas”- (The Story) - 28

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahiminash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.

 (I seek refuge in Allaah from Satan the outcast)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful)

   وَلَا يَصُدُّنَّكَ عَنْ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ بَعْدَ إِذْ أُنزِلَتْ إِلَيْكَ وَٱدْعُ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ وَلَا تَكُونَنَّ مِنَ ٱلْمُشْرِكِينَ 87  وَلَا تَدْعُ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ لَآ إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ كُلُّ شَىْءٍ هَالِكٌ إِلَّا وَجْهَهُۥ لَهُ ٱلْحُكْمُ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ 88

                               

87.  And let them not divert thee from the Revelations of Allah after they have been sent down unto thee; but call (mankind) unto thy Lord, and be not of those who ascribe partners (unto Him). 88.  And cry not unto any other god along with Allah. There is no God save Him. Everything will perish save His Countenance. His is the Command, and unto Him ye will be brought back.

87.  Wa  laa  yasuddunnaka  ‘an  ‘AayaaTillaahi  ba’-da  ‘iz  ‘unzilat  ‘ilayka  wad-‘u  ‘ilaa  Rabbika  wa  laa  takuunanna  minal-mushrikiin. 88.  Wa  laa  tad-‘u  ma-‘Allaahi  ‘ilaahan  ‘aakhar.  Laaa  ‘ilaaha  ‘illaa  Huu.  Kullu  shay-‘in  haalikun  ‘illaa  WajhaH.  LaHul-Hukmu  wa  ‘ilayHi  turja-‘uun. (Part Three-Fourth)

Commentary

Previously, it was commanded: He, Who has given you the Qur’an and imposed your duty to abide by its Commandments, He is Allaah Almighty, Who will bestow you success in the world also and will surely bring you Makkah back again with respect. You should say; for the present; to them: Nothing will happen whether you believe or disbelieve. Allaah Almighty is Well Aware of those who are on Guidance and who are astray.

In this verse, it is commanded: O Our Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him)! While the Commandments of Holy Qur’an have been revealed, then he will be yours own who will abide by its Commandments. Give up thinking concerning the Idolaters now. Don’t show any favor for them in the matter of the Religion. Now you; along with your companion Believers; are ordered that you should invite the people to Allaah Almighty and should not co-operate with the Idolaters. You should not invoke with Allaah Almighty another deity. No Deity can be except Him. The Worshiped is only One Who is Allaah Almighty. There is none who may command over the universe save Him. These people, who today have become here Kings apparently and consider that they are rulers; they all will be produced before Allaah Almighty along with the entire human beings. Remember it that all of you will be returned to Him. Only He will be the Confidential and Apparent Supreme Commander on the Day of Judgment.
