Introduction of thirty eighth Chapter (L-2787)
Depending on the configuration, this is 38th Chapter of Holy Qur’an. It was revealed in the beginning of middle time of stay at Makkah. At that time, the Infidels of Makkah had gripped up their loins to trouble the Messenger of God (ﷺ) so that he must give up any way the preaching of Islam. He (ﷺ) was in the patronage of his uncle Abu Talib at that time. He invited him again and again that he should embrace Islam and leave the religion of Idolaters, so that he might be saved from the torment of the Doomsday. But the uncle did not get ready to give up the religion of his folk. Moreover, the Idolaters put their pressure on him that either he should prevent his Nephew {Muhammad (ﷺ)} from the scorn of idols or hand him over to them.
In the primary verses of Holy Qur’an, the Infidels have been frightened from the wrath of God Almighty due to their obstinacy and it has been said to them: Talking against Islam is entirely ignorance. Those nations before you were destroyed which falsified the Prophets of God Almighty (Peace be upon them). His Wrath descended upon them.
Then it is commanded to the last Messenger (ﷺ): These are ignorant people. Endure their sayings of ignorance with patience. After that, there is mention of Prophet David (Peace be upon him). God Almighty helped him, bestowed victory upon his foes and he became a King of the entire Country. After him, his son Solomon (Peace be upon him) also became King and he used to carry out orders of God Almighty. He passed the test in which he was examined. God Almighty bestowed him a great Empire and in retribution of obedience; he became lucky in the Hereafter too.
After that, there is mention of Prophet Job (Peace be upon him) that; in afflictions he remained patient and hopeful of God’s Mercy. Eventually God Almighty bestowed him salvation and prosperity also in the world. And He will exalt him on the Day of Resurrection also by His Mercy.
After that, state of the Hellish people and condition of the Heavenly people has been explained in a very pleasant way. Then it has been caused to understand by describing the circumstances of Prophet Adam (Peace be upon him) that Satan is an enemy of him and his entire descendants forever. You should escape from his tricks. Advice of the Messenger (ﷺ) is unselfishly. You will regret if you will not care.
