Quran Chapter 13 – 31b (Pt-13,
Stg-3) (L-1592) - درس قرآن
Everything of the world is for guidance
Surah Ra-‘d (The Thunder) - 13
‘A-‘uu-zu
Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast.)
Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful.)
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast.)
Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.
(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful.)
We knew from
previous verses that for guidance of the mankind; everything has been provided
in the world, but his sense has been left free after giving him power that he
should know the Creator and Owner of the universe by observing portents of His
Omnipotence, Kindness and Rage. He (the human being) should believe in the Holy
Book (Qur’aan) and His Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be
upon him); and bear in mind his sayings every time. And he should surrender
himself unto Allah Almighty with free-will and pleasure.
This is the lesson in
these verses which is required to be taught to the people of Arab particularly
and to the entire human beings of the world commonly. Those people, who
embraced Islam by reciting and hearing the verses of Holy Qur’aan, they
are being commanded: Uncommon demand of these disbelievers is only an imposture;
otherwise everything exists in Holy Qur’aan for the wise people.
After that, it has
been commanded to the Infidels: Give up evading and believe in Allah Almighty
and His Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) correctly.
Act upon His Commands mentioned in Qur’aan, otherwise you should bear in
mind that your End will not be good. That is sure what will happen on the Day
of Resurrection, but in the world also; the disbelievers will not dwell with
peace, and on or around them; such disasters will be coming from time to time,
from which they will fear always. It is the promise of Allah Almighty, which
certainly will be fulfilled.
This Chapter was
revealed in Makkah but the Idolaters did not care. At last they saw with
open eyes that the promise of Allah Almighty was fulfilled. After a few days;
He bestowed power to the Muslims and some Idolaters of Makkah were slain
in Battles, some became prisoners and were disgraced. Their Jewish supporters
were also disgraced and expelled from their houses. Even Makkah was
conquered and within a few days, Disbelievers were erased from that sacred Place.
For common disbelievers, this promise is until the Day of Hereafter that they
will suffer in the world from great accidents. After life they will be seized
in the torment of the Day of Resurrection.
