Reckoning for deeds in the Hereafter - Quran Chapter 14 – Intro (Pt-13, Stg-3) (L-1607) - درس قرآن

Quran Chapter 14  Intro (Pt-13, Stg-3) (L-1607) - درس قرآن

Reckoning for deeds in the Hereafter

Surah ‘Ibraahiim (Abraham) - 14

‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in God from Satan the outcast.)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.

(In the name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful.)

By sequence, this is 14th Chapter of Holy Qur’aan. In it, there is mention of Prophet Abraham (peace be upon him) who brought his wife and son Ishmael (peace be upon them) to Makkah Valley and settled them there including those supplications, which Abraham (peace be upon him) prayed at that time. This Chapter was also revealed at Makkah when the time of departure (Hijrah) from Makkah to Madinah was close i.e. before 15 July 1622. Its contents are nearly the same as of other Makkan Chapters. It contains seven Sections.

In the beginning, purpose of descending the Holy Qur’aan has been caused to understand. And the people who leave the high road of its guidance, they have been frightened from the torment of Allah Almighty and caused to know them that “this series of guidance has been established with effect from the old times, and many Messengers (peace be upon them) had been coming in this world to keep it established”. The nations which did not obey Prophets (peace be upon them), their end was very bad. Keeping their dreadful end in view, you should obey the Sayings of the last Prophet, Muhammad (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him); who has been sent in the world between you. It is beneficial for you. Empire of Allah Almighty is not so much weak that if you will be obedient then it will stand firm, otherwise it will be disrupted.

Then it has been explained that the Devil pursues the mankind closely in spite of everything. He misleads the people in different ways. But when human beings are entangled in His seduction, then He blames them and runs away. You should be careful from His trickery and obey Him never whether He shows you abundant (deceitful) green gardens. This world is such a place where if you are really servants of Allah Almighty, you can get ease and comfort of the Doomsday, otherwise after death, all in vain.

Know Allah Almighty. Do not ascribe any partner with Him. Behold! There was a chosen Servant of Allah Almighty named “Abraham (peace be upon him)”. He left alone His Wife and an infant in a jungle wilderness by the Command of Allah Almighty and did not think about any other’s saying. However, He (peace be upon him) prayed for them and begged for their better future.

You should never consider that Allah Almighty is careless from your wicked deeds of tricks. He has been looking everything. The Day of Resurrection will be very terrible. On that Day, every mankind would have to be reckoned of own deeds.
