ye bring good tidings?

Commentary
If expectation of any such good tidings, (which may
not be impossible), does not have a person and it is caused to hear him, and he
is sure, even then he asks about it again and again and desires that the person,
who has brought the good tidings, should continue to tell about its detail, so
that happiness of his heart should overcome continuously. The same condition was
of Abraham (peace be upon him) after hearing the good tidings (of a son) and
whatever He discussed with the Angels (peace be upon them), when He knew that
they were Angels (peace be upon them) and brought for Him good tidings. Then
after observing own condition, He was surprised with happiness and worried. He
(peace be upon him) asked: Would it will be really so? Can the children be born
at the homes of old people? Have you considered thoughtfully about this good
news? The Angels (peace be upon them) knew these perceptions and said: Really,
this good tidings is true and that shall be whatever we have been saying. We
find reflection of hopelessness in your words. Remove it and believe in the
Mercy of Allah Almighty. When Abraham (peace be upon him) heard these words, He
was startled, and said: No, not at all! I am not hopeless from the Mercy of
Allah Almighty. Only those people despair from it who are astray, who do not
believe in Allah Almighty. I have complete belief and trust in my Lord Who is the
most Merciful.
