Commentary
It is commanded that You {O Messenger (grace,
glory, blessings and peace be upon him)} should continue delivering that
Message fearlessly and unhesitatingly; which is full of pleasure and life. As
the worshippers of idols, idolaters; are deprived of it, but these handful
people cannot be determined cause of world’s adversity. You should ignore their
villainies and mischief, and fall not short in proclaiming the Truth due to
them. They can never harm you. We are Sufficient from your side against all of
them. There is no ignorant more than them that they set others as worshipped
instead of Allah Almighty.
The entire universe and its all things are under
possession of Allah Almighty. He is their Creator and fulfills their entire
requirements. Then why do they spread their hands before others leaving Him and
pay homage to them? Neither they can give something to such people and nor can
snatch. Those are quite helpless idols of stones, by picking up; which can be
thrown or kept anywhere. They will come to know very soon that consequence of
misbehaving with the Messenger of Allah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and
peace be upon him), scoffing upon His Sayings and prostrating before other
things is very bad.
