Quran Chapter 21  68 to 70 (Pt-17, Stg-4) (L-2064) درس قرآن

The world is the world of causes

Chapter “The Prophets” – (Suratul – ‘Ambiyaaa’ - 21)

 ‘A-‘uu-zu  Billaahi minash-Shay-taanir- Rajiim.
(I seek refuge in Allaah from Satan the outcast.)

Bis-Millaahir-Rah-maanir-Rahiim.

(In the name of Allaah, the Beneficent, the Merciful.)

Holy Qur’an desires to cause to know clearly to its Believers that although the world is the world of causes, but sometimes it happens against the habit also apparently, and a thing occurs but its apparent causes are not seen.

Holy Qur’an explains it in this manner that Allaah Almighty, Who is the Omnipotent and the Most Powerful, has full power upon causes and reasons. The last thing; even after collection of outward causes and reasons; is His Intention and Commandment. If He does not command to “Be” anything then entire causes and reasons become useless, and that does not occur which was required to happen. And if He commands: Be! Then it happens whether many means are not available which are necessary for its happening.

Foes of Abraham (peace be upon him) collected all means to burn him. But Allaah Almighty desired to keep him (peace be upon him) safe and sound. Therefore the fire was commanded: Be careful! Abraham (peace be upon him) should not be burnt. Your hot flames should become pleasant and cool air for him. Your power of burning should become water of life for him.

So the fire remained apparently fire, but its heat became cool for Abraham (peace be upon him) and its flames worked as the morning breeze. Plans of idolaters remained useless.

It is being caused to understand that in accordance with the Intention of Allaah Almighty, peculiarity and state of things can be changed that whether it should work or otherwise? Series of causes and reasons work according to His Commandment. When His expedience demands then although all means are available even then the required result does not come out. Or sometimes it appears that the means and causes are not visible but it occurs.

A Muslim takes work from the means but considers that the last consequence depends on the Command of Allaah Almighty. The people who keep the means only in view and they are not confuted of Allaah Almighty and His Intention, He loosens them. When the Time will come, then His Plan will appear openly and the connection of the means will be removed from the midst. And then the Plan of Allaah Almighty will clearly be visible conqueror over them.
