Commentary

It is another matter if the mankind does not regard, otherwise it is impossible that a person, who uses common sense, may not reach this result after thinking awhile that really it is from the Command of Allaah Almighty that the beasts; big in size; come under his control as much that he can use them as he wills. A child can carry so much strong and big in size beasts i.e. camels (which can be hundreds in numbers in one line), wherever he desires to bring, by catching Nakil of one camel (the wooden or iron instrument fixed to a camel’s nose to which is tied the string by which it is led, is called Nakil), and those entire camels will follow the child without objection. Like this, horses, mules, asses and oxen etc. begin to work hard on mankind’s signals.

It is commanded: The people should meditate that how many benefits they reap from the beasts as riding; loading burden on them and eating their meat after slaughtering them. Cultivating in the land and sowing seeds of grains etc. would not have been possible in the absence of ox, hose or male buffalo. It would have been very difficult to be saved from cold weather if wool and skin of the cattle were not available for covering their bodies.

Besides this, the cattle are used as food also. Human beings use their milk and meat. It is strange if they do not think that He, Who created all such things and handed them over to the mankind for their service, Surely He is the Lord of all, Who cares so much about their upbringing.

The mankind is not so much innocent that he may not know own God and Lord after observing the entire things of the universe; created by Him. However he is certainly so much unintelligent that he has chosen imaginary things of the world as his gods. And he considers that these imaginary gods have been bringing him up and will help him in troubles. O ignorant! Look up! Your Lord is Exalted from all things and these imaginary gods will not be able to do something for you.
