9. Is he who worships devoutly during the watches of the night,
prostrating himself and standing up, mindful of the Hereafter, and placing
his hope in the mercy of his Lord? Say, “Are those who know and those who do
not know equal?” Only those possessed of reason will remember. |
Selfish and cunning people call upon God Almighty when they are in such trouble in which they lose their senses and become hopeless from all sides. God Almighty hears the cries of all helpless and He supports them. He saves the crier from deadly calamities by His mercy in which he was inflicted. Then when he is comforted, he sings with joy, and instead of falling prostrate before his Lord and obeying Him with full zeal, he becomes haughty and says: I dedicated and strewed flowers at a shrine, so I got over difficulties.
Some are such slaves of God Almighty mentioned in this verse who get up at night and bow down prostrate before Allaah and stand before Him with their hands tied. They fear from the Day of Resurrection, seek support of the kindness of God Almighty, call upon Him in affliction and be thankful to Him in pleasure.
These are good people contrary to those ungrateful. Repent! The learned and the ignorant are not equal. Only the wise understand. https://youtu.be/TPqL5G1Ak2E
