Allah is Sufficient for His Bondmen (L-2844)

لِيُكَفِّرَ ٱللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ أَسْوَأَ ٱلَّذِى عَمِلُوا۟ وَيَجْزِيَهُمْ أَجْرَهُم بِأَحْسَنِ ٱلَّذِى كَانُوا۟ يَعْمَلُونَ 35 أَلَيْسَ ٱللَّهُ بِكَافٍ عَبْدَهُۥ وَيُخَوِّفُونَكَ بِٱلَّذِينَ مِن دُونِهِۦ وَمَن يُضْلِلِ ٱللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُۥ مِنْ هَادٍ 36 |

35. Li-yukaffirAllaahu ‘anhum ‘aswa-‘allazii ‘amiluu wa yajziya-hum ‘ajrahum bi-‘ahsa-nillazii kaanuu ya’-maluun. 36. ‘A-laysAllaahu bi-Kaafin ‘abdaH. Wa yukhawwi-fuunaka billaziina min- duuniH. Wa many-yuzli-Lillaahu famaa lahuu min haad. |

35. God
will acquit them of the worst of their deeds, and will reward them according
to the best of what they used to do. 36. Is God not enough for His servant? And they frighten you
with those besides Him. Whomever God sends astray, for him there is no guide. |
It is commanded: The people who admitted the truth and turned away from a lie, they are true slaves of God Almighty and they are who will obey His every commandment with true heart. God Almighty will provide them their all desired things because He is Owner of everything. As it is said “to err is human”, so their end will be that their entire errors and mistakes will be forgiven. And full reward of their righteous works will be bestowed to them.
Alas! The ignorant people do not understand these matters. Their disobedience has increased so much that they do not hesitate in being arrogant before God Almighty. The idolaters of Makkah used to threaten the Messenger (ﷺ): We shall get you punished by means of our gods if you did not give up reproaching our idols, and they will snatch your senses (God forbid).
It
is commanded: As if God Almighty is not enough to protect His servants, they
set up their idols and self-made gods against Him and threaten: Refrain from
your preaching, otherwise these will punish you! It is true that God Almighty
shows the right path to whom He wills, otherwise there is no guide for them to
whom He leaves astray.
