They have not esteemed God well (L-2860)

وَمَا قَدَرُوا۟ ٱللَّهَ حَقَّ قَدْرِهِۦ وَٱلْأَرْضُ جَمِيعًا قَبْضَتُهُۥ يَوْمَ ٱلْقِيَٰمَةِ وَٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ مَطْوِيَّٰتٌۢ بِيَمِينِهِۦ سُبْحَٰنَهُۥ وَتَعَٰلَىٰ عَمَّا يُشْرِكُونَ
67 وَنُفِخَ فِى ٱلصُّورِ فَصَعِقَ مَن فِى ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَمَن فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ إِلَّا مَن شَآءَ ٱللَّهُ 68a |

67. Wa maa qadarUllaaha haqqa qadriHii wal-‘arzu jamii-‘an- qabzatuHuu Yawmal-Qiyaamati was-samaa-waatu matwiy-yaatum-biyamiinih. SubhaanaHuu wa Ta-‘aalaa ‘ammaa yushrikuun. 68a. Wa
nufikha fis-Suuri fasa-‘iqa
man- fis-samaawaati wa
man- fil-‘arzi ‘illaa
man- shaaa-‘Allaah. |

67.
They have not esteemed God as He ought to be esteemed. The entire earth will
be in His grip on the Day of Resurrection, and the heavens will be folded in
His right. Immaculate is He, and Transcendent He is beyond the associations
they make. 68a. And the Trumpet will be sounded, whereupon everyone in the
heavens and the earth will be stunned, except whomever God wills. |
The people, who incline towards others instead of God Almighty and consider that those (self-made gods) fulfill their desires, in fact they have not esteemed Him as He ought to be esteemed, otherwise no one has any power before Him. Neither those can give something to someone and nor can snatch from any other. Belief in a plurality of God, is considered the greatest sin and it can never be forgiven, main reason of which is that the root of truth and righteousness is disconnected entirely by it. Therefore, effort of proving greatness of a lie over the truth can never thrive.
It is commanded: These ignorant people have not appraised God Almighty with true appraisal. Estimate concerning His Divine Power from it that on the Day of Resurrection, the entire earth will be within His grip and the entire heavens will be folded in His Right Hand. How can you compare between the Lord of the Worlds and self-fabricated gods of idolaters? Immaculate is He, and Transcendent He is beyond the associations they make. The mankind should know that the Horn will be blown on a Day, entire living creatures in the heavens and in the earth will become senseless by its dreadful sound. And none will be saved from its influence, but only that to whom God Almighty will by His Mercy.
