Pharaoh’s Stubbornness (L-2884)

29b. Pharaoh said, “I
do not show you except what I see, and I do not guide you except to the path
of prudence.” 30. The
one who had believed said, “O my people, I fear for you the like of the day
of the confederates. 31. Like the fate of the people of Noah, and Aad, and Thamood,
and those after them. God wants no injustice for the servants. |
Pharaoh said: I don’t understand what you are saying. I tell you that which I consider suitable at this time. After observing the condition of Moses (Peace be upon him), there can be no doubt in it that this “Man” is very dangerous. He knows any such art by showing of which he draws attention of the people towards himself. He will certainly create a mischief in our management if he is not prevented. No wonder the people begin to say the same thing, and the management which we established since long, is destroyed all at once. Its only remedy is that Moses (Peace be upon him) should be slain. Understand it well that I do not guide you except to the way of right conduct. If you did not obey me; you would have to confront great difficulties in future.
That
Believer did not pay attention to the sayings of Pharaoh and continued saying:
O my folk! I think that God Almighty will help His Prophet (Peace be upon him)
and punish them severely who molest him. Be careful! You also may be tormented
like the refractory people before you. Lest you are punished as the folk of
Noah (Peace be upon him), Aad and Thamud were punished. If it
happened then that would be correct retaliation of your rudeness. God Almighty wants no injustice for His servants.
