36. And
Pharaoh said, “O Hamaan, build me a tower, that I may reach the pathways. 37. The pathways of the heavens, so that I may glance at the God
of Moses; though I think he is lying.” Thus Pharaoh’s evil deeds were made to
appear good to him, and he was averted from the path. Pharaoh's guile was
only in defeat. |
It is impossible to remove that thought which settles in the heart of a mankind. Moreover, his entire plans and deeds move around his thoughts, and whoever opposes him; he does not care because he considers that he is thinking right; remaining all are wrong.
The same has been explained by Holy Qur’an in this way: God Almighty seals the hearts of such people. Pharaoh is a shining similitude of such people. The Believer was speaking the truth and the heart of Pharaoh was cutting his root internally. At last he addressed to his Minister and vented his heart’s rage in this way: O Haman! I have been rendered helpless by hearing these talks. Construct for me a tower! Moses (Peace be upon him) says that His Lord is the Sublime, the Majestic. So build the tower so much high that I may rise on it and peep in the heavens. Perhaps I may see the Deity of Moses (Peace be upon him). However, it is clear that I consider him a liar and any liar must be disclosed in public.
It is commanded: Behold! How evil thoughts spread over the heart and stop the mankind from understanding the truth. Consequence of Pharaoh’s all plans will be nothing but destruction. https://youtu.be/8HFeGUHjhTA
