وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِىٓ ءَامَنَ يَٰقَوْمِ ٱتَّبِعُونِ أَهْدِكُمْ سَبِيلَ ٱلرَّشَادِ

38. The
one who had believed said, “O my people, follow me, and I will guide you to
the path of rectitude.” 39. “O
my people, the life of this world is nothing but fleeting enjoyment, but the
Hereafter is the Home of Permanence. 40. Whoever commits a sin will be repaid only with its like. But
whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, and is a believer—these
will enter Paradise, where they will be provided for without account. |
The Believer did not take notice of Pharaoh’s talk and began to inform the people of his folk: Way of Pharaoh is not the way of success and betterment. Listen to me and do as I say. I shall guide you towards that which leads directly to the success of the both worlds. O people of my folk! There is nothing in the world except a life of a few days. Its wealth and property can be of use for some days, which will be useless after death. Hear! Actual is that life which will start after your death. And that is the real life which will be perpetual, without suffering or pain and sickness or death. That is life of the Day of Resurrection and a permanent settlement for dwelling. Comfort of that life is the real comfort. I describe you some state of that life.
Behold!
Whoever will do an evil deed; will not be
recompensed except by the like thereof; so he should not be hopeful of
betterment on the Day of Judgment. But whoever will do righteousness, whether
male or female, while he is a Believer - those will enter Paradise. They will
be given all luxurious things along with provision therein without account. The
mankind understands everything, but when life after death and reward or
punishment according to personal deeds are mentioned before him, then he puts
it off, and inclines always to temporary enjoyment of the world.
