73. And those who feared their Lord will be led to Paradise in
throngs. Until, when they have reached it, and its gates are opened, its
keepers will say to them, “Peace be upon you, you have been good, so enter
it, to abide therein eternally.” |
The punishment on the Day of Resurrection for those people, who do not believe in God Almighty, disobey His Messenger (ﷺ) and ridicule His Commandments in the world, was described in previous verses. They will be driven to the Hell, According to their faiths and deeds; they will be divided in different groups.
There is mention in these verses concerning those slaves of God Almighty who believe in Him and obey His Commandments. It is commanded: the people who used to believe in God Almighty, fear His Doom and abstain from evil deeds due to His fear, they also will be grouped separately in accordance with their beliefs and deeds. And then the Angels (Peace be upon them) will drive all of them to the Gardens.
When they will reach the Paradise, its keepers will congratulate and say to them: Peace be upon you; you are pure people; saved yourselves from sins due to fear of God Almighty and lived a chaste life in the world. Neither you were involved in selfishness, nor snatched anything from someone else and nor wasted your precious time in effort of crossing others for acquiring higher rank and respect. But instead of it, you spent your maximum time in the worship of God Almighty and complying with His Commands wholeheartedly. Today, Paradise is for you, its gates have been opened for you, so enter it to abide eternally therein.
