The Truth (L-2883)

28b. If he is a liar,
his lying will rebound upon him; but if he is truthful, then some of what he
promises you will befall you. God does not guide the extravagant imposter. 29a. O my people! Yours is the dominion today, supreme in the
land; but who will help us against God’s might, should it fall upon us?” |
Close relative of Pharaoh has been causing him and his companions to understand:
First of all, it is not at all right that you desire to kill a person merely for the reason that he (Peace be upon him) believes that God is his Lord, particularly while he has been producing clear proofs that he has been sent from the Lord of all of you.
Secondly,
he (Peace be upon him) will surely be punished if he is a liar. Any a lie
cannot run for a long time. But if he is true then be sure! Any calamity from
the misfortunes will certainly fall upon you; from which he has been
frightening you. Try to understand! He (Peace be upon him) has been calling the
name of God. His great courage and bravery appears from it. He says that God is
The Omnipotent and The Knower, then how will He let such liar and arrogant be
successful while He knows everything and has Divine Power? Then he said: I
accept that you are prevailing and King on your entire country, but you must
think that if according to saying of Moses (Peace be upon him), God sent down
Doom upon you, then who will save you? Use your sense!
