Behavior with Joseph (L-2886)

حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا هَلَكَ قُلْتُمْ لَن يَبْعَثَ ٱللَّهُ مِنۢ بَعْدِهِۦ رَسُولًا كَذَٰلِكَ يُضِلُّ ٱللَّهُ مَنْ هُوَ مُسْرِفٌ مُّرْتَابٌ 34b ٱلَّذِينَ يُجَٰدِلُونَ فِىٓ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ بِغَيْرِ سُلْطَٰنٍ أَتَىٰهُمْ كَبُرَ مَقْتًا عِندَ ٱللَّهِ وَعِندَ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ كَذَٰلِكَ يَطْبَعُ ٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ قَلْبِ مُتَكَبِّرٍ جَبَّارٍ35 |

34b. hattaaa ‘izaa halaka qultum- lany-yab-‘asAllaahu mim- ba’-dihii rusulaa. Kazaalika yuzil-Lullaahu man huwa musrifum-murtaab. 35. ‘Allaziina
yujaadiluuna fiii ‘AayaaTillaahi bigayri
sultaanin ‘ataahum. Kabura
maqtan ‘indAllaahi wa
‘indal-laziina ‘aamanuu. Kazaalika
yatba-‘Ullaahu ‘alaa kulli
qalbi mutakabbirin- jabbaar. |

34b. Until, when he
perished, you said, “God will never send a messenger after him.” Thus God
leads astray the outrageous skeptic. 35. Those who argue against God’s revelations, without any proof
having come to them—a heinous sin in the sight of God, and of those who
believe. Thus God seals the heart of every proud bully. |
A believing man from the family of Pharaoh, who had concealed his belief, was causing Pharaoh and his entire nation to know: Behold! You oppressed Joseph (Peace be upon him) in the Past. Now be careful, lest like him; you treat Moses (Peace be upon him) with cruelty. During the life of Joseph (Peace be upon him), you did not accept him as a Prophet and had doubt in his sayings continuously. When he departed, then your eyes were opened and you began to say: Never will God send a messenger after him. Behold! Do not err concerning Moses like him (Peace be upon them). Obey him otherwise you will repent! The people who do not know the Revelations of God Almighty and are entangled in doubts, God Almighty deprives them from His guidance because they produce disputes in clear proofs without any suitable reason. They can never prove that they are right in falsifying the Prophets (Peace be upon them). This transgression is neither liked by God Almighty and nor by those who believed in Him. The person who does not admit the Truth but considers that he is more powerful, God Almighty seals the heart of such proud bully. It has been proved from the circumstances of old people.
