The Aim of sending Qur’an (L-2934)

وَٱلَّذِينَ ٱتَّخَذُوا۟ مِن دُونِهِۦٓ أَوْلِيَآءَ ٱللَّهُ حَفِيظٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَمَآ أَنتَ عَلَيْهِم بِوَكِيلٍ
6
وَكَذَٰلِكَ أَوْحَيْنَآ إِلَيْكَ قُرْءَانًا عَرَبِيًّا لِّتُنذِرَ أُمَّ ٱلْقُرَىٰ وَمَنْ حَوْلَهَا وَتُنذِرَ يَوْمَ ٱلْجَمْعِ لَا رَيْبَ فِيهِ فَرِيقٌ فِى ٱلْجَنَّةِ وَفَرِيقٌ فِى ٱلسَّعِيرِ

6. Wallaziinat-takhazuu min duuniHii ‘awliyaaa-‘Allaahu hafiizun ‘alayhim wa maaa ‘anta ‘alayhim bi-wakiil. 7. Wa
kazaalika ‘awhayNaaa ‘ilayka
Qur-‘aanan
‘Arabiyyal-litunzira
‘Ummal-Quraa wa man hawlahaa wa tunzira
Yawmal-Jam-‘i laa rayba
fiih. Fariiqun fil-Jannati
wa fariiqun fis-
Sa-‘iir. |

6. As
for those who take masters other than Him: God is in charge of them, and you
are not responsible for them. 7. Thus We inspired you with an Arabic Quran, that you may warn
the Central City and whoever is around it, and to warn of the Day of
Assembly, of which there is no doubt; a group in the Garden, and a group in
the Furnace. |
‘Ummal-Quraa – {the Mother-Town, the Mother of Cities (Makkah)}.
Man hawlahaa – (the people around it), that is to say, the people of the entire world; because Makkah is in the centre of the entire earth and entire populations of the world are around it.
It is commanded: None of them must consider that he may do whatever he desires and no one can ask him about his deeds. God Almighty knows very well all of them who take as allies other than Him, flatter and adore their self-made gods. O Messenger (ﷺ): You are not over them a manager. You are not commanded to compel them for believing by force.
O people! You heard the recitation of Qur’an. Its manner is the same with effect from the beginning to the end. This is a Book for reciting in Arabic language. O Messenger (ﷺ): We have revealed it towards you for the purpose that you must warn the people of the Central City (Makkah) and whoever is around it, whether those dwell in any part of the world. Warn all of them that their entire deeds will be reckoned on the Day of Assembly (of entire human beings) without any doubt. A group of them will be in the Garden, and a group in the Hell. Live according to the Commandments of Holy Qur’an if you are desirous to be included in the group of the Garden.
