Making excuses by Infidels (L-2925)

إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ بِٱلذِّكْرِ لَمَّا جَآءَهُمْ وَإِنَّهُۥ لَكِتَٰبٌ عَزِيزٌ 41   لَّا يَأْتِيهِ ٱلْبَٰطِلُ مِنۢ بَيْنِ يَدَيْهِ وَلَا مِنْ خَلْفِهِۦ تَنزِيلٌ مِّنْ حَكِيمٍ حَمِيدٍ 42  مَّا يُقَالُ لَكَ إِلَّا مَا قَدْ قِيلَ لِلرُّسُلِ مِن قَبْلِكَ إِنَّ رَبَّكَ لَذُو مَغْفِرَةٍ وَذُو عِقَابٍ أَلِيمٍ 43  وَلَوْ جَعَلْنَٰهُ قُرْءَانًا أَعْجَمِيًّا لَّقَالُوا۟ لَوْلَا فُصِّلَتْ ءَايَٰتُهُۥٓ ءَا۬عْجَمِىٌّ وَعَرَبِىٌّ 44a

41.  Innallaziina  kafaruu  biz-Zikri  lammaa  jaaa-‘ahum.  Wa  ‘innahuu  la-Kitaabun  ‘Aziiz. 42.  Laa  ya’-tiihil-baatilu  mim  bayni  yadayhi  wa  laa  min  khalfih.  Tanziilum-min  Hakiimin  Hamiid. 43.  Maa  yuqaalu  laka  ‘illaa  maa  qad  qiila  lir-rusuli  min-  qablik.  ‘Inna  Rabbaka  la-Zuu  magfiratinw-wa  Zuu  ‘Iqaabin  ‘aliim. 44a.  Wa  law  ja-‘alNaahu  Qur-‘aanan  ‘A’-jamiyyal-laqaaluu  law  laa  fussilat  ‘Aayaatuh.  ‘A- ‘A’-jamiyyunw-wa  ‘Arabiyy.

41. Those who reject the Reminder when it has come to them—it is an invincible Book. 42. Falsehood cannot approach it, from before it or behind it. It is a revelation from One Wise and Praiseworthy. 43. Nothing is said to you but was said to the Messengers before you: your Lord is Possessor of Forgiveness, and Possessor of Painful Repayment. 44a. Had We made it a Quran in a foreign language, they would have said, “If only its verses were made clear.” Non-Arabic and an Arab?

It is commanded: Those people have been oppressing themselves, who turn away from such Scripture which reminds them advice and forgotten good things. This Remembrance is an invincible Book (Holy Qur’an), in which there is no lie or false statement. It has been sent down by Him, Who knows all realities and is Owner of entire excellences.

Behavior of these disbelievers with you {O Messenger grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him)} is just like the behavior of ancient nations; remained with their Prophets (Peace be upon them). Those Prophets (Peace be upon them) described to their people useful instructions, but the people gave them pain in response. So you must have patience. The people, who from them will believe, will be forgiven by God Almighty, because He is Forgiving, Merciful. And who will not believe, will surely be punished. He gives very severe and painful punishment. 

The fact is that these people make excuses always. When Qur’an is sent down in Arabic language, they say, “We would have believed in his Prophet-hood; if he had brought it in any other than Arabic language”.

If We had made it a non-Arabic Qur`an, they would have said, "Why are its verses not explained in our language? Is it a foreign recitation and an Arab Messenger?"
