Signs of Allah (L-2904)

وَيُرِيكُمْ ءَايَٰتِهِۦ فَأَىَّ ءَايَٰتِ ٱللَّهِ تُنكِرُونَ
81 أَفَلَمْ يَسِيرُوا۟ فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَيَنظُرُوا۟ كَيْفَ كَانَ عَٰقِبَةُ ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ كَانُوٓا۟ أَكْثَرَ مِنْهُمْ وَأَشَدَّ قُوَّةً وَءَاثَارًا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَمَآ أَغْنَىٰ عَنْهُم مَّا كَانُوا۟ يَكْسِبُونَ
82 |

81. Wa Yuriikum ‘AayaatiHii fa-‘ayya ‘AayaaTillaahi tunkiruun. 82. ‘Afalam
yasiiruu fil-‘arzi fayanzuruu
kayfa kaana ‘Aaqibatul-laziina min-
qablihim. Kaanuuu ‘aksara
minhum wa ‘ashadda
quwwatanw-wa ‘aa-saaran- fil-‘arzi
famaaa ‘agnaa ‘anhum-maa
kaanuu yaksibuun. |

81. And
He shows you His signs. So which of God’s signs will you deny? 82. Have they not journeyed through the land, and seen the
outcome for those before them? They were more numerous than they, and had
greater power and influence in the land. But what they had achieved availed
them nothing. |
God Almighty has bestowed sense to the mankind. His work is to know his Creator and Lord by observing circumstances and occurrences of the world and its strange arrangement. And then he should think that what advantages he himself has been reaping from the things created by God Almighty. By a little effort, his sense will tell him that the Creator has created all such things for benefits of the mankind. And reason of mankind’s creation is that he must know God Almighty, be thankful to Him and engage himself in His worship.
It is commanded: God Almighty shows you His Signs, even then you do not believe in Him. So which of the Signs of Allaah will you deny? Travel through the land and observe; how was the end of those who came and passed away before you? What did they do and what was the result of their works? They were more powerful and more than you in numbers. They constructed big and strong buildings, but created disorder in the earth and disobeyed the Commands of God Almighty. So doom of God Almighty came upon them. Then neither their physical strength could save them and nor their buildings. They entire were ruined.
