Refuge in Allah (L-2923)

وَإِمَّا يَنزَغَنَّكَ مِنَ ٱلشَّيْطَٰنِ نَزْغٌ فَٱسْتَعِذْ بِٱللَّهِ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ
36 وَمِنْ ءَايَٰتِهِ ٱلَّيْلُ وَٱلنَّهَارُ وَٱلشَّمْسُ وَٱلْقَمَرُ لَا تَسْجُدُوا۟ لِلشَّمْسِ وَلَا لِلْقَمَرِ وَٱسْجُدُوا۟ لِلَّهِ ٱلَّذِى خَلَقَهُنَّ إِن كُنتُمْ إِيَّاهُ تَعْبُدُونَ
37 فَإِنِ ٱسْتَكْبَرُوا۟ فَٱلَّذِينَ عِندَ رَبِّكَ يُسَبِّحُونَ لَهُۥ بِٱلَّيْلِ وَٱلنَّهَارِ وَهُمْ لَا يَسْـَٔمُونَ

36. Wa ‘immaa yanzagan-naka minash-Shaytaani nazgun fasta-‘iz Billaah. ‘InnaHuu Huwas-Samii-‘ul-‘Aliim. 37. Wa min ‘Aayaatil-laylu wan-nahaaru wash-shamsu walqamar. Laa tasjuduu lish-shamsi wa laa lil-qamari wasjuduu Lillaahil-lazii khalaqahunna ‘in kuntum ‘iyyaaHu ta’-buduun. 38. Fa-‘inis-takbaruu fal-laziina
‘inda Rabbika yusabbihuuna laHuu
billayli wan-nahaari wa
hum laa yas-‘amuun. (‘As-Sajdah –

36.
When a temptation from the Devil provokes you, seek refuge in God; He is the
Hearer, the Knower. 37. And
of His signs are the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. Do not bow
down to the sun, nor to the moon, but bow down to God, Who created them both,
if it is Him that you serve. 38. But if they are too proud—those in the presence of your Lord
praise Him night and day, and without ever tiring. |
It is commanded: Fortunate people treat bad people with patience and they do good with them in response who misbehave. You must also do so. However, if you have to confront any Devil and bearing becomes difficult or a temptation from the Devil provokes you, then you must seek refuge in God Almighty; He is the Hearer and the Knower. He is the Omnipotent, Who created the night and the day and the sun and the moon. Do not prostrate to the sun or to the moon or anything created by Him. If it is God that you serve then bow down to God only, Who created all things. Let them do whatever they desire if they are arrogant. Those {Angels (Peace be upon them)} in the presence of your Lord praise Him night and day without ever tiring. He does not care worship of any one. (Bow down because this is the verse of Prostration!)
