Cause of depravity (L-2918)

وَقَيَّضْنَا لَهُمْ قُرَنَآءَ فَزَيَّنُوا۟ لَهُم مَّا بَيْنَ أَيْدِيهِمْ وَمَا خَلْفَهُمْ وَحَقَّ عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلْقَوْلُ فِىٓ أُمَمٍ قَدْ خَلَتْ مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّنَ ٱلْجِنِّ وَٱلْإِنسِ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ خَٰسِرِينَ 25 وَقَالَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ لَا تَسْمَعُوا۟ لِهَٰذَا ٱلْقُرْءَانِ وَٱلْغَوْا۟ فِيهِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَغْلِبُونَ 26

25.  Wa  qay-yazNaalahum  Qura-naaa-‘a  fazayyanuu  lahum-maa  bayna  ‘aydiihim  wa  maa  khalfahum  wa  haqqa  ‘alayhi-mul-qawlu  fiii  ‘umamin-  qad  khalat  min  qablihim-minal-Jinni  wal-‘Ins.  ‘Innahum  kaanuu  khaasiriin. (Section 3/17) 26.  Wa  qaalal-laziina  kafaruu  laa  tasma-‘uu  lihaazal-  Qur’-aani  wal-gaw  fiihi  la-‘allakum  taglibuun.

25. We had assigned companions for them, who glamorized to them what was in front of them, and what was behind them. And the Word proved true against them in communities of jinn and humans that have passed away before them. They were losers. 26. Those who disbelieve say, “Do not listen to this Quran, and talk over it, so that you may prevail.”

It is commanded: Main reason of depravity’s spreading in the world was that the people turned away from the righteousness. So Satan enclosed them and deceived that “their entire current and old works were very good and they could improve themselves. They would reap many advantages from the works they did, for instance, playing games and sports; singing and dancing; collecting money, leading by pushing the feeble back and troubling the helpless so that they might not resist in the development of powerful people”.

It is commanded: When enemies of the righteousness observed that verses of Holy Qur’an were influencing the people, they began to say to their comrades: Do not listen to him {the Messenger (ﷺ)} and begin to make noise when someone recite Holy Qur’an, so that other people may not hear.
