14b. Indeed, those who
were made to inherit the Book after them are in grave doubt about it. 15. To this go on inviting, and be upright as you were
commanded, and do not follow their inclinations, and say, “I believe in
whatever Book God has sent down, and I was commanded to judge between you
equitably. God is our Lord and your Lord. We have our deeds, and you have
your deeds. Let there be no quarrel between us and you. God will bring us
together, and to Him is the ultimate return.” |
It is commanded: Ancient people made different groups intentionally; being involved in selfishness; although they were aware of the Truth. As a result, they had many suspicions concerning the Book; who came after them. And they were confused that which group was at right.
Then, it is commanded to the Messenger (ﷺ): Invite the people to that religion of God which was taught by all ancient Prophets (Peace be upon them), and remain on a right course as you are commanded, and do not follow the inclinations of those people. Say to them: I have believed in all Scriptures of God which were revealed from time to time, because teachings of all of them are the same according to basic Rules and Regulations. I have been commanded to do justice among you without partisan because as God is our Lord, just like this He is your Lord too. For us are our deeds, and for you are your deeds. There is no need of arguing between us and you in the world. God will bring all of us together on the Day of Resurrection, and to Him is the final destination.
