Everything will be clear in the Hereafter

Everything will be clear in the Hereafter (L-3208)

7b.  Summa  yunabbi-'uhum bimaa  'amiluu  Yawmal-Qiyaamah.  ‘InnAllaaha  bikulli  shay-'in  ‘Aliim.

7b.  and afterward, on the Day of Resurrection, He will inform them of what they did. Lo! Allah is Knower of all things.

8a. Have you not observed those who were forbidden conspiracy and afterward returned to that which they had been forbidden, and (now) conspire together for crime and wrongdoing and disobedience toward the messenger? And when they come unto you they greet you with a greeting wherewith Allah greets you not,

Then it is commanded: Whatsoever they do or think in the world, Allaah Almighty is Aware of everything. He will inform them of what they did, on the Day of Resurrection. Nothing is hidden from Him. It is commanded: See the people who were forbidden from private conversation in the Assembly of God’s Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him). It was their habit that they used to provoke the Muslims by talking silently being separate from the Muslims, by laughing at them or by making signals. When the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) used to command them for doing any work, they used to say in laughter condition: We can’t do so much difficult work. They were prevented from it that these were acts as of jokers, so they should be serious. But they did not refrain.

Here, their state is being disclosed that they have been doing the works of rebelling, sins and disobeying. Their one more arrogance was that Allaah Almighty taught them to say “’As-Salaamu ‘alaykum” when anyone comes or meets someone else, but they used to say in low voice “’As-Saamu ‘alaykum”. Saam means “death and destruction”. Even they used to refrain not from wickedness in greeting too, from which depravity of their nature is obvious.
