12b. Glad news for you this day: Gardens
underneath which rivers flow, wherein you are immortal. That is the supreme
triumph. 13a. On
the day when the hypocritical men and the hypocritical women will say unto
those who believe: Look on us that we may borrow from your light! It will be
said: Go back and seek for light! |
It is commanded: On the Day of Resurrection, believing men and believing women will begin to pass the Pul-Siraat (according to Muslims’ belief a Bridge over which the righteous will pass to heaven) in the light of their belief and righteous works. Good tidings will be given to them on that Day: For you are Gardens underneath which rivers flow, wherein you will abide eternally. That is the consequence, which is the great attainment, because the lucky person who will reach Paradise, his entire desires will certainly be fulfilled. The best thing is that Allaah Almighty will be pleased with him.
On the other side, the disbelievers will not be
able to pass the “Pul-Siraat”. They will be cut into pieces and fall
into Hell in the beginning. But those who were hypocrite men and hypocrite
women, that is to say, apparently they were along with the Muslims, but
heartily they were enemies, they will be permitted to pass the Pul-Siraat,
with regard to their apparent condition. They will desire to go ahead there too
in the Light of the believers, but the believers will move forward immediately
and the hypocrites will remain in darkness. At that time they will say to those
who believed, "Wait for us that we may acquire some of your light."
It will be said to them: Go back behind you and seek light. You can’t reap here
advantage from the Light of others.
