Introduction of Chapter “The Iron” (L-3183)
In order, this is fifty-seventh Chapter of Holy Qur’an which was sent down during eighth or ninth year After Hirah (AH). It has four Sections. Epithets of Allaah Almighty have been described in the beginning of this Chapter, so that those people who have entered Islam; they may know Him thoroughly. And those who did not embrace Islam so far, they should choose His prescribed religion i.e. Islam. Everything of the universe has been glorifying Allaah Almighty, whether that is in the heavens or in the earth. The things which are unable to speak; those by showing their condition, and those who can speak; they by showing their condition as well as by their tongues also – have been describing that they do not have any power or strength. The Most Powerful is only Allaah Almighty. He is the Sovereign of whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is in the earth. He gives life and death. He has knowledge of everything and Divine Power. He created the entire universe and is with everyone every time. He is The Owner of the heavens and the earth. Appearance of days and nights are portents of His Omnipotence.
Believe in Him and His Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him). Spend in His Way from that which He has bestowed to you. None must have faith in wealth. It was with them who were before you, now you have it. As they left it behind, you also will die and it will be with someone else behind you. Those who spent it before the victory of Makkah, reward for them is more than those who spent after the victory of Makkah, because earlier its necessity was more than after.
Allaah Almighty sent His Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) for your guidance towards the Straight Path and for bringing you towards the light of the knowledge from the darkness of ignorance. Whatever you will spend for the cause of Allaah Almighty, will be as you have been lending to Him. Have faith that He will return your debt and give you abundant by His Bounty, not only in this world but in the Hereafter too.
The people who do not believe in Allaah Almighty, will be
in worst condition. They will cry out for help but will not be responded.
Behold! Nothing is good in the world. It is like a game for a few days. Actual
life is the life of the Day of Resurrection. System of the world is temporary
and all facilities are available here, so that you may worship your Lord in
easy circumstances and spend in the Way of Allaah Almighty from which
you have. Don’t behave with boastfulness due to your wealth and property etc.
But you must reap advantage from it yourselves and benefit others. Keep up
justice – All Prophets (peace be upon them) taught the same lesson for which
Muhammad; the last Messenger of Allaah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings
and peace be upon him) has come to teach.
