You are unable to understand (L-3181)

وَنَحْنُ أَقْرَبُ إِلَيْهِ مِنكُمْ وَلَٰكِن لَّا تُبْصِرُونَ 85  فَلَوْلَآ إِن كُنتُمْ غَيْرَ مَدِينِينَ 86  تَرْجِعُونَهَآ إِن كُنتُمْ صَٰدِقِينَ 87  فَأَمَّآ إِن كَانَ مِنَ ٱلْمُقَرَّبِينَ 88  فَرَوْحٌ وَرَيْحَانٌ وَجَنَّتُ نَعِيمٍ 89  وَأَمَّآ إِن كَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَٰبِ ٱلْيَمِينِ 90  فَسَلَٰمٌ لَّكَ مِنْ أَصْحَٰبِ ٱلْيَمِينِ 91

85.  Wa  Nahnu  ‘aqrabu  ‘ilayhi  minkum  wa  laakil-laa  tubsiruun. 86.  Falaw-laaa  ‘in  kuntum  gayra  madiiniin. 87.  Tarji-'uunahaaa  ‘in  kuntum  saadiqiin. 88.  Fa-‘ammaaa  ‘in  kaana  minal-Muqarrabiina. 89.  Fa-Rawhunw-wa  Ray-haanunw-wa  Jannatu  Na-'iim. 90.  Wa  ‘ammaaa  ‘in  kaana  min-  ‘As-haabil-Yamiin. 91.  Fa-Salaamul-laka  min  ‘As-haabil-Yamiin.

85. - And We are nearer unto him than you are, but you see not - 86. Why then, if you are not in bondage (unto Us), 87. Do you not force it back, if you are truthful? 88. Thus if he is of those brought nigh, 89. Then breathe of life, and plenty, and a Garden of delight. 90. And if he is of those on the right hand, 91. Then (the greeting) "Peace be unto you " from those on the right hand.

It is being commanded: When a person is near to die and his soul comes up to the throat; you are at that moment looking. We and Our angels (peace be upon them) are nearer to him than you, and We know his internal condition, but you do not see. Describe now if you are not under the control of someone else and can do everything yourselves as you desire, then why do you not bring the soul back or let him die, if you should be truthful, otherwise you must not tell a lie by arrogance?

Now hear the state of that who is going to die! If the deceased was of those brought near to Allaah Almighty, then for him is rest and bounty and a garden of pleasure. And if he was of the companions of the right, then the angels (peace be upon them) will say, "Peace for you; you are from the companions of the right."
