Now the turn is of the Muslims (L-3192)
|
فَٱلْيَوْمَ لَا يُؤْخَذُ مِنكُمْ فِدْيَةٌ وَلَا مِنَ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مَأْوَىٰكُمُ ٱلنَّارُ هِىَ مَوْلَىٰكُمْ وَبِئْسَ ٱلْمَصِيرُ 15 أَلَمْ يَأْنِ لِلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓا۟ أَن تَخْشَعَ قُلُوبُهُمْ لِذِكْرِ ٱللَّهِ وَمَا نَزَلَ مِنَ ٱلْحَقِّ وَلَا يَكُونُوا۟ كَٱلَّذِينَ أُوتُوا۟ ٱلْكِتَٰبَ مِن قَبْلُ 16a

15. Fal-Yawma laa yu'-khazu minkum fidyatunw-wa laa minallaziina kafaruu. Ma'-waakumun-Naar. Hiya maw-laakum. Wa bi'-sal-Masiir. 16a. ‘A-lam
ya'-ni lillaziina ‘aamanuuu
‘an- takh-sha-'a quluubuhum
li-ZikRillaahi wa maa
nazala minal-Haqqi, wa
laa yakuunuu kallaziina
‘uutul-Kitaaba min- qablu |

15. So
this day no ransom can be taken from you nor from those who disbelieved. Your
home is the Fire; that is your patron, and a hapless journey's end. 16a. Is
not the time ripe for the hearts of those who believe to submit to Allah's
reminder and to the truth which is revealed, that they become not as those
who received the scripture of old |
The believers will say to the hypocrites: You acted duplicitously in the world. Apparently you were our companions and stealthily you tried to destroy us. Therefore, Today our Light will not work for you and nor you will get rid of darkness by paying ransom. In this regard you and disbelievers are equal. Refuge of all of you is the Fire of the Hell, which is your permanent comrade instead of us. Certainly your end is the worst.
After that it is commanded to those who believed: The time has come for you that your hearts should become humbly
submissive at the remembrance of Allaah Almighty and what has come down
of the truth. Behold! You must not do as did those who were before you. It is
being said to those who embraced Islam; that is to say, you cannot be released on
account of saying verbally only that you are Muslims. But you should remember Allaah
Almighty with true hearts, implore earnestly and humbly before Him and obey His
Commands.
