What in the world? (L-3194)
وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِۦٓ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ هُمُ ٱلصِّدِّيقُونَ وَٱلشُّهَدَآءُ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ لَهُمْ أَجْرُهُمْ وَنُورُهُمْ وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ وَكَذَّبُوا۟ بِـَٔايَٰتِنَآ أُو۟لَٰٓئِكَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْجَحِيمِ 19 (ع) ٱعْلَمُوٓا۟ أَنَّمَا ٱلْحَيَوٰةُ ٱلدُّنْيَا لَعِبٌ وَلَهْوٌ وَزِينَةٌ وَتَفَاخُرٌۢ بَيْنَكُمْ وَتَكَاثُرٌ فِى ٱلْأَمْوَٰلِ وَٱلْأَوْلَٰدِ 20a |
19. Wallaziina
‘aamanuu Billaahi wa
RusuliHiii ‘ulaaa-'ika humus-Siddiiquuna wash-Shuhadaaa-'u 'inda
Rabbihim. Lahum ‘Ajruhum
wa Nuuruhum. Wallaziina
kafaruu wa kazzabuu
bi-‘AayaatiNaaa ‘ulaaa-'ika ‘As-haabul-Jahiim. (Section
2/18) 20a. ‘I'-lamuuu
‘annamal-hayaa-tud-dunyaa
la-'ibunw-wa lahwunw-wa ziinatunw-wa tafaakhurum-baynakum wa
takaasurun fil-‘amwaali wal-‘awlaad. |
19. And
those who believe in Allah and His messengers, they are the loyal, and the
martyrs are with their Lord; they have their reward and their light; while as
for those who disbelieve and deny Our revelations, they are owners of
hell-fire. 20a. Know
that the life of the world is only play, and idle talk, and pageantry, and
boasting among you, and rivalry in respect of wealth and children; |
It is commanded: Those people who believed in Allaah Almighty and had faith that His Prophets (peace be upon them) were true, and proved by their words and works that Islam was the best Religion, they are true believers near Allaah Almighty because they honour Islam. Allaah Almighty will give them best reward and they will have Light also on the Day of Resurrection. But those who have disbelieved and denied the verses of Holy Qur’an - those are the companions of Hellfire.
