Best way of life (L-2956)

Two works are compulsory for mankind to do after believing in God Almighty: Correcting one’s relationship with the people, & Correction of oneself.

1.   Correction of one’s relationship with the people is easy for them who believed in God Almighty. And it is the reality that mutual relationships cannot be arranged without belief in Him. Fear of God Almighty is such thing which can prevent the mankind from violation, tyranny and oppressing others. When persecution is stopped then there would be no delay in making the relationships good.

2.   Second step for correcting the relationship is that you must not remain busy in collecting worldly goods. Its measure is that you must put your full trust in the Promises of God Almighty that more than worldly temporary blessings, He will bestow His blessings to His obedient people on the Day of Resurrection. Those blessings will be perpetual, never ending. Habit of putting trust in God Almighty in every work is first ladder of correcting oneself. It can be a habit at that time when the human beings correct their entire physical and mental strengths, way of which has been described in this verse. Perceive that God Almighty is the Seer and the Present; Who hears the prayer of all and fulfills desires of everyone. There is no other except Him who may fulfill desires of any person because other all are entirely helpless save Him in one matter or the other. Only God Almighty Alone is Who is not helpless in any matter. Understand it also that He punishes the sinners and bestows rewards to the obedient. Entire thoughts of the mankind will be quite correct by comprehending this.

After that, learn - how to control your desires. Stay away from anger and extreme violence, these are bad desires. Tolerate others’ arguments and treat them softly. Your heart will be pure so much; how much you will have belief in God Almighty, and how much you will try to act upon His Commandments; so much He will bestow you guidance. Do only such works for which you are ordered or permitted to do. Obedience of God Almighty is a source of correcting personal deeds. Establish prayer at prescribed times for this purpose and counsel in every work with those who know. Spend your wealth and strength for the help of others. Do not dispute with others for own benefits. Fight must only be for repelling oppression and violence. Fighting for acquiring authority and power is the work of the ignorant. Forgive errors of others as much as it may be possible, its full reward will be given to you in the Hereafter. To err is human.
