Good and bad people (L-2945)

تَرَى ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ مُشْفِقِينَ مِمَّا كَسَبُوا۟ وَهُوَ وَاقِعٌۢ بِهِمْ وَٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ فِى رَوْضَاتِ ٱلْجَنَّاتِ لَهُم مَّا يَشَآءُونَ عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ ذَٰلِكَ هُوَ ٱلْفَضْلُ ٱلْكَبِيرُ
22
ذَٰلِكَ ٱلَّذِى يُبَشِّرُ ٱللَّهُ عِبَادَهُ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ 23a |

22. Taraz-zaalimiina mushfi-qiina mimmaa kasabuu wa huwa waaqi-‘um- bihim. Wallaziina ‘aamanuu wa ‘amilus-saalihaati fii rawzaatil-jannaat. Lahum-maa yashaaa-‘uuna ‘inda Rabbihim. Zaalika huwal-Fazlul- kabiir. 23a. Zaalikallaziina yubash-shirUllaahu ‘ibaadahul-laziina ‘aamanuu
wa ‘amilus-saalihaat. |

22. You
will see the unjust terrified of what they have earned, and it will befall
them. As for those who believe and do good deeds, they will be in the Meadows
of the Gardens; they will have whatever they please in the presence of their
Lord; that is the supreme blessing. 23a. That is the good news God gives to His servants who believe
and do good deeds. |
It is commanded: Evil doers will be trembling on the Day of Resurrection due to fear of their deeds’ punishment; though they chose such deeds happily in the world, and used to consider that they were doing good. Surely they will have to be tormented in the Hereafter as a result of their earnings which they used to commit in the world; by turning away from the Commands of God Almighty. The first punishment from those punishments is such fear which will be spreading on them that “what will happen now?”
Opposite to them are those who have believed in God Almighty and done righteous deeds according to the instructions of His last Messenger (ﷺ) and Holy Qur’an, sent by Him, they will be in lush regions of the Gardens in Paradise; having whatever they will in the Presence of God Almighty, to Whom they used to consider their Lord. They will dwell in the Paradise forever. Think for awhile! That is what the great Bounty is. It is that of which God Almighty gives good tidings to His slaves who believe in Him and do righteous works in accord with His Commandments.
