Reward for the Righteous (L-3112)

إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى جَنَّٰتٍ وَعُيُونٍ 15  ءَاخِذِينَ مَآ ءَاتَىٰهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَبْلَ ذَٰلِكَ مُحْسِنِينَ 16  كَانُوا۟ قَلِيلًا مِّنَ ٱلَّيْلِ مَا يَهْجَعُونَ 17  وَبِٱلْأَسْحَارِ هُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ 18  وَفِىٓ أَمْوَٰلِهِمْ حَقٌّ لِّلسَّآئِلِ وَٱلْمَحْرُومِ 19

15.  ‘Innal-Muttaqiina  fii  Jannaatinw-wa  'uyuun. 16.  ‘Aakhiziina  maaa ‘aataa-hum  Rabbuhum.  ‘Innahum  kaanuu  qabla  zaalika  Muhsiniin. 17.  Kaanuu  qaliilam-minal-layli  maa  yahja-'uun. 18.  Wa  bil-‘as-haari  hum  yastag-firuun. 19.  Wa  fiii  ‘amwaalihim  haqqul-lissaaa-'ili  wal-mahruum.

15. Lo! Those who keep from evil will dwell amid gardens and water-springs, 16. Taking that which their Lord gives them; for lo! Aforetime they were doers of good; 17. They used to sleep but little of the night, 18. And ere the dawning of each day would seek forgiveness, 19. And in their wealth the beggar and the outcast had due share.

It is commanded: The people who bow their heads before Allaah Almighty and give up such works which are forbidden by Him, they are temperate. Great reward will be given to them on the Day of Resurrection. The abode of all of them will be Gardens underneath which rivers will be flowing. Allaah Almighty will bestow to them His Blessings and they will be thankful on such blessings. Who will be such people? 

They will be the people who escape from sins and needless things, and say: Allaah Almighty becomes displeased from such matters, therefore we leave them. They will turn away from amusement and recreation centres; adopt good works which are commanded by Allaah Almighty to do. These will be the people who do not waste their entire night in sleeping carelessly, but use to be engaged in the worship of Allaah Almighty some part of the night. In the morning they pray for forgiveness of their sins. They separate some portion of their earnings for the help of such people who are needy (the petitioners who ask for help and the deprived who may not come out to request for help).
