33. Did
you (O Muhammad) observe him who turned away, 34. And
gave a little, then was grudging? 35. Has
he knowledge of the Unseen so that he see? 36. Or
has he not had news of what is in the books of Moses 37. And
Abraham who paid his debt: 38. That
no laden one shall bear another's load, 39. And
that man has only that for which he makes effort, 40. And
that his effort will be seen. 41. And
afterward he will be repaid for it with fullest payment; |
There are some such people in the world who had some faith in Islam, then their hearts were hardened Or they spent something for the cause of Islam and then ceased. A man alike was Walid bin Mughiirah, who was desirous to embrace Islam but did not embrace. Someone said to him: Why do you leave the way of your elders? He said: I fear the Doom of Allaah. The other person said: If you give me a sum (determined), I am ready to suffer the punishment at your place. He gave sum money, but then ignored. Such people are being caused to understand: Does he have knowledge of the Unseen, so he sees that someone else will pay his penalty? Say to him: Did you not listen to the Commandments mentioned in the Scriptures of Moses and Abraham (peace be upon them)? Abraham (peace be upon him) used to fulfil his word. There; it has been described clearly and now the same is being repeated again in Holy Qur’an that no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of any other. “As you sow so you shall reap”. Every individual is responsible of own deeds. Retribution of personal worldly deeds will be given to everyone on the Day of Judgement. Their efforts and hard labour of toil will be examined on the Day of Resurrection. And there will be full reward or punishment according to own works. Therefore, every person must obey the Commands of Islam and try to do good works in the light of Islamic teachings.
