Condition of wrongdoers (L-3125)

فَوَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ 11 ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ فِى خَوْضٍ يَلْعَبُونَ 12 يَوْمَ يُدَعُّونَ إِلَىٰ نَارِ جَهَنَّمَ دَعًّا 13 هَٰذِهِ ٱلنَّارُ ٱلَّتِى كُنتُم بِهَا تُكَذِّبُونَ 14 أَفَسِحْرٌ هَٰذَآ أَمْ أَنتُمْ لَا تُبْصِرُونَ 15 ٱصْلَوْهَا فَٱصْبِرُوٓا۟ أَوْ لَا تَصْبِرُوا۟ سَوَآءٌ عَلَيْكُمْ 16a |

11. Fa-way-luny-Yawma-'izil-lil- mukazzibiin. 12. ‘Allaziina hum fii khawziny-yal-'abuun. 13. Yawma yuda'-'uuna ‘ilaa Baari Jahannama da'-'aa. 14. Haazihin-Naarul-latii kuntum bihaa tukazzibuun. 15. ‘Afa-sihrun haazaaa ‘am ‘antum laa tubsiruun. 16a. ‘Is-lawhaa
fasbiruuu ‘aw laa
tasbiruu. Sawaaa-'un 'alaykum. |

11. Then
woe that day unto the deniers 12. Who
play in talk of grave matters; 13. The
day when they are thrust with a (disdainful) thrust, into the fire of hell 14. (And
it is said unto them): This is the Fire which you were wont to deny. 15. Is
this magic, or do you not see? 16a. Endure
the heat thereof, and whether you are patient of it or impatient of it is all
one for you. |
It is commanded: When that Day will come, the people will see that whatsoever was described by the Messenger of Allaah Almighty (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) and Holy Qur’an explained, was entirely true and correct. But today these people do not heed to these matters and say that these are self-invented and a heap of falsehood. They hear the Commandments but turn away and are busy in amusements. They like fables and stories but do not think about death. If any time they are confused, remove their confusion by taking alcohol, dancing and singing etc.
In short, they waste their time in such absurd affairs. After
death the evil will come upon them. They will be
pushed by angels (peace be upon them) toward the Fire of Hell with a violent
thrust on that Day. When they will reach near the Fire, it will be said to
them: Behold! This is the Fire which you used to deny. This is prepared for
you. Describe now! Is it a play of magic or juggling? You used to say that Our
Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) was a wizard and his
sayings were charming. Will you remain blind even now as you were in the world?
Enter to burn therein; then be patient or impatient - it is all the same for
you.
