40. And in the night-time hymn His praise, and after the
(prescribed) prostrations. 41. And listen on the day when the crier cries from a
near place, 42. The day when they will hear the (Awful) Cry in truth.
That is the day of coming forth (from the graves). 43. Lo! We it is Who quicken and give death, and unto Us
is the journeying. |
‘Adbaaras-sujuud –
(after the prescribed prostrations, that is to say, performing prayer), it aims
– remembrance of Allaah Almighty after Obligatory prayers - as it has
come in the Sayings (Hadith) of the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings
and peace be upon him) that the person who will recite these Words after every
prayer, his entire little sins will be forgiven – “SubhaanAllaah (Glorified
be God)(33 times), ‘Al-HamudLillaah (Praise be to God) (33 times),
‘Allaahu ‘Akbar (God is the Greatest) (34 times) and Laa ‘ilaaha ‘illAllaahu WahdaHuu Laa Shariika laHuu LaHul
Mulku Wa laHul Hamdu, Yuhyii Wa Yumiitu Wa Howa Hayyun Laa Yamuutu
‘Abadan ‘Abadaa. Zul-Jalaali
Wal-‘Ikraami, BeyadiHil- Khair. Wa Howa ‘Alaa Kulli Shay-‘in Qadiir. (1 time) {Meaning of (Fourth)
Word of Oneness (Tawhiid) (There is none worthy of
worship except Allaah. He is only One. There is no partner for Him. For
Him is the Kingdom. And for Him is the Praise. He gives life and causes death.
And He is Alive. He will not die, never, ever. Possessor of Majesty and
Reverence. In His hand is the goodness. And He is on everything Powerful)}”.
Previously it was commanded: Hymn the praise of your Lord (Pray!) before the rising and before the setting of the sun. There was indication towards three Prayers – Fajr (Dawn) Prayer, Zuhr (Mid-day) Prayer and ‘Asr (Afternoon) Prayer.
It has been commanded in these verses: Hymn His praise in some part of the night-time. This indicates towards two Prayers of night – Magrab (Evening) Prayer and ‘Ishaa’ (the first watch of the night) Prayer.
After that, there is mention of the Day of Resurrection that, O
mankind, listen: Our angel (peace be upon him) will blow the Trumpet on a Day
and every mankind will hear his cry as “this voice is coming from a near place”
and there will be the blast of the Horn in truth.
Every individual will consider that they are being ordered to stand up. Bear it
in mind! Everything will happen as it is commanded. Therefore, you must have
faith that We brought you to life first time, then We shall cause you to die
and after death, We shall certainly bring you to life again. You all will stand
up wherever you will be and begin to run towards the Field of Assembly, and the
angels (peace be upon them) will produce all of you in Our Court.
